Stayed for a week and it was decent place to stay. Resort is at the edge of sea and you will enjoy breeze at evenings. Food is okay and as a veggie items are limited. Pool and Gym are additional to continue your daily work outs and Bar and Snookers for relax available.

After searching for days for accommodation close to my conference in Pointe aux Piments, I was incredibly lucky to be offered a large family room at Villas Mon Plaisir through Marideal. It gave me the unique opportunity of working while being close to my family at a very reasonable rate. Because of the anticyclone, we could not enjoy any boating activities provided by the resort but we were pleasantly surprised by the plentiful and varied assortment of dishes served for breakfast and dinner. The food here was better than the lunch I had at the 4* hotel where my conference was held. There was also a sega show on Saturday night where guests were invited to join in and learn steps on the tunes of popular local songs. We are really thankful to Michaela and her beautiful team for letting us have the spacious family room so that we could be together during our short stay. Will definitely choose Villas Mon Plaisir again for my next conference in Pointe aux Piments!

We stayed at a neighboring pricey resort on half pension and ate here for lunch on numerous occasions.
The portions were big and the prices reasonable. They were very accommodating to our vegetarian daughter.
If we haden't been staying at the other resort, we definitely would consider this one.
Thanks!

The resort is perfect for couples..the rooms are neat and tidy..the service was good..there is private beach where you have a few activities. The staffs are very helpful. Walking along the sea shore and watching the sunset is mesmerising. Worth staying.

It’s a nice small hotel on the beach. The rooms are situated around the pool. Dinner is in open buffet style, we are vegetarian and they made a vegetarian soup for us if no vegetarian soup was available. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good, lunch is avarage. Sunset is great, right ins front of the hotel in the sea.
You can go with the glass bottom boat and snorkeling every day for free, if the weather is good, from the hotel.
A water cooker is in the room, but you only get tea, so bring your own coffee.
15 min walk from the hotel is a small and nice aquarium with beautiful fish from Mauritius.

The corals near the hotel are dead. We saw beautiful fish and corals (corals are not as beautiful as in Thailand) during a speadboat trip near the east side of the island, and during the dolphin trip at the west side.
We booked three trips in a package: north part, south part and catamaran tour to see dolphins for €180 pp with the hostess in the hotel. South tour and dolphin trips were very beautiful.

We had a very good, beautiful and relaxing vacation! Mauritius is a very beautiful island to visit and Villas Mon Plaisir a great quiet place to stay.
