Room rates at this hotel range from about 60 ringgit to 100+ for the family rooms, so I guess it qualifies as a budget hotel. I stayed with a family relative in a Superior Room (twin bed). This room type doesn't have windows, which although causes the room to become slightly claustrophobic, but it's actually a good thing because of the Mosque about 100 metres away (noise problem). Decor was a drab, 80s style and duvet was a brown cloth duvet. Limited (5-6) channels on the TV, one exclusively broadcasting the Islamic call to prayers and no international channels. Saw several Australians in the lobby also staying at this hotel and a few backpackers. Reception staff were generally nice and some could recognize guests.

Hallways didn't feel that secure, although rooms were protected by a main gate that required the sensor keys. Offices of Prudential Insurance were next door, so I guess the building/area isn't that worn down or low-end. Security guards were patrolling the area as well and CCTVs (security cameras) present in the hallways. Didn't see housekeeping at all during the 2-night stay, although we returned at night to see that the room had cleaned. Usual hotel amenities (complimentary bottle of water, shampoo and body wash) were provided.

Room Tip: Get the rooms with no windows, significantly less noisy and 10 ringgit cheaper
