This is a lovely hotel. Super friendly staff. Large double room, good air conditioning. huge walk in shower. Breakfast downstairs was really tasty with a good mix of Western and local food. The open rooftop bar is great. Close to the riverwalk and to shopping malls.

Organised a small buffet dinner, for the third time at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Was busy but received prompt responses in making arrangements through Whatsapp.

Just back from a tour of Borneo and hopped around, staying at the limetree for 6 nights. The staff are so very helpful and friendly, their shuttle rides to gorgeous places are cheaper than the taxi's, they picked us up and took us to the airport at silly night times (£6 one way from the airport to the hotel, super cheap). The shuttle driver also gave us lots of local info on the rides out and about. The reception staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble, even helped call the airline when the travel agent mucked up one of our flights! The rooms are basic but clean and all you need, nice shower, tea and coffee making facilties and big comfy bed in the standard room we had. If staying it is defo worth visiting Bako national Park (we did 2 days here), the orangutan sanctuary (very eco freindly and needs of urangs and not tourists come first), and Permai was also gorgeous. What an unforgettable trip! If you are vegan like we are there is a place behind (street cafe, can't recall name hut at the very end of the street near the petrol station) that will set you back a pound for a meal and a drink. There is also a nice bar in the middle of Chinatown if you fancy a beer away from the Lime Trees rooftop bar which is fab and well priced. Alcohol is not a big thing here and same price as in the UK pretty much. Food is super cheap.
Thanks Lime Tree for part of an amazing holiday!

This hotel is clean and functional. Initially we were disappointed due to its location (a dusty busy 10 minute walk to the esplanade)but the room was fine, beds comfortable, good shower. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Staff were friendly and breakfast was quite good. Overall we were happy with our stay here
