From the lobby the hotel looks quite nice and modern.

However I am still puzzled as to why this hotel displays a certificate of excellence at reception and on the front window.

The check in was smooth and speedy but the receptionist was less than friendly.

The room is simple and clean but starts showing signs of poor maintenance. The biggest draw back was the stench of cigarette smoke in the room. There were marks of cigarette burns on the desk. The hotel is supposed to be a smoke free hotel with fines for people who smoke in the room which I doubt was enforced. For non smokers the smell in the room was unbearable.

The breakfast is the biggest joke. What breakfast? Definitely not a 3 star hotel breakfast...

Check out was smooth and the receptionist was very friendly.

There is parking at the front but it is not free. As we arrived at midnight we forgot to put our parking coupon and got fined the next morning. Of course this is our own fault not the hotel's but be mindful of it.

We will definitely not book this hotel again.

The attached picture says a lot about the management's attitude towards customers.

Stayed 3D2N.

Hotel appears new and well maintained. Rooms are well maintained. Staff are not too friendly but ok for 3star hotel. Location is a bit further from city centre but near to amenities and restaurants. Fried mihun(vermicelli) during breakfast was splendid!

Very limited breakfast menu. But taste is ok.
Hotel was flooded with tourists from China who as usual were indecent, behaved rudely and were noisy all the time, inclusive after midnight.

Barring the China tourist's ordeal, Overall recommmended for short stay.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of our journey and wanted to be close to airport for early ckeckout. This hotel is handy to access the north part of the city centre and is close to shopping mall and food places. The hotel is clean and comfortable and we are happy with our stay here but it is in need of a refurbishment. The carpets in the hallways are dirty and there were just some little things that where broken such as the cloths line in shower, built in waredrobe door wouldn't slide properly and the sink plug wouldn't seal properly. The rooms had a strange smell to, when we arrived.
The breakfast is not worth the money. There was not much of a choice of a cooked breakfast and what food there was, i thought was weird, such as mash potato for breakfast. I ended up with having the continental breakfast with the standard two cerial choices anywhere i stayed while in Malaysia. We got a good deal for this hotel but i wouldn't pay the full price.

NEGATIVES
House keeping forgot to provide shampoo & shower gel in the room. I had to call the reception counter to request. Not a big deal though cos the staff acted quickly to resolve the situation. I ordered singapore fried noodles via their room service in the morning ~ just an average dish, couldn't finish it as it was not to my liking.

POSITIVES
Quick check-in & check-out. Big and spacious room. Good location although not really strategically located in the city centre. Close to convenience store and places to eat/restaurants.

the room is nice, clean, very comfortabe to stay for rest and relaxing, but a bit far from kota kinabalu town and you need to take a taxi or grab car to go there, but the taxi fare is quite expensive, so i suggest to anyone who want go to kota kinabalu town you better take a grab car because it's cheaper than taxi, i like this hotel because room is very nice..
