Massive resort with ambitious plans for golf villages, museums, cultural villages etc, etc
What Nexus needs to do first is to train it's staff in the basics of customer service. Poor levels of English combined with an apparent desire to please without the ability or desire to fulfill promises produces endless frustrations. Small change and a kid's camera vanishes from a bedroom, a concierge with no information, management who make the right noises but fail to follow through on their statements and actually deliver.
Disinterest or ineptitude?
Overriding impression is that they churn through a largely Asian
customer base and have no desire
to make this a first class,
professionally run resort.
Having heard from several managers that they track feedback on TripAdvisor is is indicative of the resort that they show no interst or desire to address issues raised.
It's a shame as the beach and setting are superb. The only way I could recommend this hotel would be to take a pool villa (avoiding the mediocre, overcrowded breakfasts in the over developed, underserviced villa complex); rent a car and be totally self-sufficient, avoiding the poor service and frustrations, the overpriced
and uninspiring food choices.
A tropical mass tourism mediocrity or a genuine commitment to first class service? Seems that the owners and management need to decide which route they are taking.
