There were loads of memorials symbolising the surrender of the Japanese troops in Labuan after Japan surrendered when the atomic bombs were dropped in Hiroshima & Nagasaki in August 1945

“Interesting place”
Reviewed 27 May 2012

This is a place where the japanese surrendered after hiroshima was bombed in year 1945. Nothing much to see here, other than enjoying the serene beach, sea breeze and some local BBQ foods and coconut stalls nearby. Its a great place to hang out in the evening if you are looking for a quiet yet comfortable place to sit down and enjoying the soft sea breeze.
