The western beach is nicer as there are less people but it is perhaps more poluted as it is rarely cleaned. Good to spend some time at the sea and nice for sunsets.

This beach is beautiful. It is always empty as the locals rarely go to the beach. It is worth going.

Malaysia has big problems.

And it starts with a lack of care or interest in disposing of waste and rubbish in the appropriate manner.

Labuan is a good example of this.

With beautiful beach's that are first class when clean, it's beach's are being destroyed and looking like garbage wastelands whenever the tides come in and the rubbish is there for all to see.

A complete and utter eye sore.

No interest on the part of the local authorities to educate local's on not disposing rubbish at the beach or in the sea or control over the collection of rubbish from ships and tug boats from the oil and gas industry who simply dump whatever ever rubbish they have over the side..and in turn wash's up on the beach's..

What a waste of a beautiful island....in other countries, they would be crying for such beauty and opportunity to have such beach's.

It's a pity the local authorities neither value clean beach's or are interested in making an effort to solve this disgusting problem....

It leaves a terrible impression on visitors to the island....

Since Labuan is an island, it is surrounded by beaches and sea. I loved this and can never get enough of it. It is recommended to rent a cr while you are here, you will not get lost as its within an island. Also pls ensure you have sunblock with you to avoid sunburn.
