Visited the beach due to its interesting historical significance, and there wasn't a memorial, there wasn't a plaque, heck, there wasn't even a beach. Also, the locals said that the british defences had fallen into the sea. So basically, there is nothing here to indicate its role in WW2, or that it ever had any.

Went there with the local for beach fishing. The road to get there is a bit bumpy. Turn out it is a hot spot for the locals from the surrounding area for fishing. Bring lots of water.

Love the fishermen village here, so colorful, the local are very friendly. if you are a photographer, should try to shoot sunset when the weather is clear.

If you like to see the local fishermen village in Kota Bharu, Pantai Sabak is the place, less than 10 minutes drive from Kota Bharu Airport, avoid visit on Friday if you dislike many peoples. great location for sunset shooting too.
