There are thousand of raamen shops in Japan and it's a very safe food because usually they're acceptable, good, cheap and fast. But there are few places where each step and ingredient is original and traditional. Kikyo is a wooden house, very cute with the owner and his wife preparing each order by themself. They don't have any employee so sometimes, when it's rush hour they take more time than usual wich means 5 minutes instead of 3! Extremely good chaashu (pork) and quickly fried negui. A must when visiting Nikko for only $10 dollars.
