I've been 2 times in this hotel. It's a really good 4 stars hotel in the best location you can have in Yokohama. Be careful with prepaid vouchers because they do not accept credit card payments from other entities but only from the guest. Missing the frigobar.

Room Tip: Higher floors better city view

We stayed here for three nights and the hotel is a luxury one with economic price.

The lobby is very busy when we arrived, but more than enough staffs are waiting to help you. Since many business people there, their English are among the best hotel staffs we experienced.

The hotel is in 5 mins walking from Sakuragiko station. An overhead bridge connects to the Hotel. It's one of the highest building in Yokohama, if not the highest. Hotel rooms are from 49(?) floors above. The Sky Garden is on Floor 69, but it's not accessible from the hotel.

Hotel view is amazing especially during the night.

Life is convenient there with two train stations in walking distance. A supermarket is in the shopping mall across the overhead bridge.

Only one annoying thing is that the room light is quite dimmed.

Since this hotel is positioned to luxury, you won't find coin machine laundry there. Breakfast and dinner are also quite expensive. But it won't be a big issue as Yokohama is a quite busy city.

Room Tip: Sky Garden is on Level 69. You need pay to get there, from another door outside the hotel.

First of all, let me say that this is the best view I’ve ever had at any hotel in the world; looking out at the Yokohama port from the 60th floor is hard to beat. Everyone here has been very helpful. The room is small, but that’s to be expected in Japan. The room is very modern, usb outlets everywhere, current flat screen tv, remote pad that controls the window shades, room temperature, etc.

In such a modern hotel, it’s difficult to believe that the internet access would be so poor, 0.47 MB download and 1.9 MB upload, the speedtest itself took about 45 seconds to start. While this test was taken in my room, it took about 5 minutes for my mail to load from the lobby earlier today. However, even with that, I cannot help but heartily recommend this hotel to anyone not caring about WiFi (and probably even to those who do, the rest was great enough to compensate), specially for $230US for a double room.

My husband and I traveled with an infant for the very first time. I thought the hotel was accommodating for kids of any age. I’d say this hotel is a family friendly place. Can’t wait to go back there again in near future!

Visiting Yokohama and staying at the Royal Park hotel for four nights at 61 floor.
Very nice and spacious rooms , clean and amazing view.
Hi-tech for the various functions of the room (blinds, lights, ac, privacy etc)
Very friendly staff and very helpful.
The breakfast not impressive at all, as also the whole buffet set-up. The sky lounge have amazing view and the Japanese restaurant one of the best regarding the food quality.
