This is a small museum but is worth looking at as it gives a fantastic insight of Japan's growth to the advanced country it now is. The the displays are well laid out and are factual. The second world war section is sobering.

This best combined with a visit to the Hikawa Maru (1930's build passenger vessel which was Japan's only surviving passenger ship post second world war.

The ship models and artefacts on display are worth the cost which is 500 yen if you visit both the ship and museum (walking distance at about 20 minutes if your stroll slowly).

Small museum where you can learn about the history of the Yokohama port and the opening of the port to foreign countries. Some volunteer guides that can express some explanation in English. History of Yokohama, the Kanto earthquake and how the current port was built and developed. The ticket, 600 yens allows you to visit the training ship Nippon Maru just in front of the museum.

Okay so I work on a cargo ship for a living so this might be far more interesting to me than the average person. However, for the price(400 yen +100yen Hikawa Maru Ship). It is well worth, lots of excellent models of all types of modern and not so modern ships. Also a lot about Yokohama Maritime History, to be learned. This is close to World Porter, China Town, and Yamashita Park all within walking distance. Definitely worth the visit if you have the time in Yokohama.
