Clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and comfortable. Japanese toilet (good), western tub-shower with curtain (meh). The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but ok for a night. The only real downside is that the shuttle bus only runs every half hour, sometimes hourly, so there's an added time cost.

Apparently some of the rooms in the hotel are a bit "cupboard" size, but we were impressed/amazed with how huge our room was. Plenty of room to spread out, a television in both the lounge area and the bedroom, a clean bathroom - we were happy. It is an old hotel, and could do with a bit of modernising, but we liked it.

The food offered at dinner was buffet style. Sadly they didn't have warming under the pans, so most of the food was quite cold. Most of the dishes weren't available, as when they emptied, they weren't refilled. There was a chocolate fountain, which is one of my definite no-nos - full of germs from people sticking half eaten marshmellows in and out...not nice, and definitely a thing from the 70s that should have stayed in the 70s. Breakfast was no better - not much on offer.

It was fine for one night, and especially convenient for those leaving (or arriving) from Narita Airport. We were leaving from Haneda, so had a 70 minute drive to get to our Airport. Smoking rooms are available.

There is a small gym in the hotel, and a pretty garden area to walk around. There is also a small convenience store where it was good to get rid of all our Japanese coins.
Free wifi in rooms.

If this is your last night or nights in japan then this hotel will surprise you by having western sized hotel rooms, so big compared to rest of japan you will swing your bag around just because you can.
The hotel is obviously catered for airplane staff travelling to and from japan between jobs. The shuttle bus which picks up from the airport and drops at hotel is great. The hotel is in the middle of no where though, so dont expect to walk around and see interesting things cause there isnt anything. planes fly directly overhead but the double thick window block the sound very well

We stayed here in late 2014 whilst on a layover between flights within Japan. We arrived late at night and left early the next morning. There was a free shuttle bus though the service timetable from memory was difficult to access. The decor of the place was retro-Japan, but was a great insight and experience of the country. It wasn't five stars, but it was moderately clean and well accessible.

This was our last night in Japan and chosen by our tour operator - Nexus.
Very old and out dated rooms and chatting to other members of our group, the room size ranged form small to apartment size!.
Nothing flash about this hotel.
Dinner was just standard and breakfast was poor.
Would look elsewhere if we had the choice.
