The Hotel location is near the kurasiki station. The room is small and the toilet is very small whereby i cant turn around in the toilet. It's facilities is good, have onsen and massage chair provided for free. The breakfast not many choice but still acceptable.
At night, it's very noisy, got few people racing in front the hotel.

This hotel is located near the Kurashiki station, a 10 min. walk from the train gate to the hotel entrance. It’s small, kind of new and the staff is friendly enough.
The hotel ambiance is rather dark and everything is small and narrow. There’s only 1 elevator for 10 floors (incl. basement) so the wait by the elevator is extremely long. When it finally comes, it’s usually packed with other people.
The room I stayed in was a superior single room with a king sized bed. The room was dark, rather small and narrow in shape. the bathroom was so tiny with its miniature sink and 1 faucet for both sink and bath, one could not help but bang against the wall when taking a shower or anything else.
The bed had a soft mattress and down covers in the summer (!) with the ac right above it. The tv on the wall could only be seen while lying in bed and was way too big for that short a distance. The windows and walls were not sound proof so much noise could be heard from the street below, as well as the person in the next room sneezing.
Breakfast was disappointing as well, tiny selection and not even good. It’s ok for just coffee and cornflakes..
The only good things were the more or less convenient location, and the fact that it’s clean.

The hotel is within walking distance from JR Kurashiki Station so it was very convenient. It was also near Tenmaya shopping mall. We came by a rental car so it was not so important for us but there was no onsite parking and we had to park in public carparks about 400m away.

Check-in was easy and they had front staff who could speak Japanese, English and Mandarin.

The room (twin beds) was of a good size for Japan standards. The Simmons beds were comfortable and the interior design was modern. However, the bathroom was very small. There was a public bath in the basement so we chose to use that instead.

Breakfast area was small and the variety was decent.

Nice clean and modern hotel located only approx 5mins walk from main train station. Beautifully decorated. Spacious room for Japanese hotel. Equipped with a “handy” phone with unlimited data to aid your sightseeing. Has a private bath too. Only very, very small issue is only one lift to cater for the whole hotel! We also got the hotel at an excellent price which also helped! Highly recommend this hotel. Approx 10-15 min walk from historical area.

Large rooms for a Japanese hotel. Every room has its own airco unit which is good since many Japanese hotels have only centrally controlled airco's with the temp cranked way too high. Rooms are modern and recently renovated. Air cleaner/humidifier in Room.

Bathroom is small, but there is a wonderful large natural hot spring bath in the basement, with actually several different baths you can try. Location is good, a few minutes walking distance to the station.

For some reason there is only one elevator, so that means sometimes you have to wait a few minutes.

Room Tip: many rooms do not have much natural light, if you need this, ask for it specifically.
