This private trip was organised by our tour company, it takes a while to get to it it's 90km outside Saigon, founded in 1926 this vast complex draws thousands of worshippers a year.
The main attraction is the Great Divine Temple, we arrive at about 11.30 to watch the daily mass at noon, you can view from the upstairs balcony, the 3 main religions are Confucianism, Taoism, and Chinese Buddhism.
We stayed for about 45 minutes, it's a long way to travel, as it takes some time to get out of Saigon.

This was a fascinating visit. The temple is extraordinary and we witnessed the miday devotions of the followers. It was aunique experience and the chanting of the devotees created an atmosphere of awe and their commitment to their faith was palpable. We were allowed to capture this unique experience using our cameras as there are no restrictions on photography.

In this temple there are many roads that can run motorcycles. There are many temples in a large campus. This is the headquarters of Cao Dai. On the annual festival people come here worshiped very crowded. If you come here to explore the local culture

Very nice temple, fantastic architecture. The interior of the temple is also very nice. You can see the followers conducting rituals in the temple. The nun and monk are wearing different coloured robe and the followers wear in white. I do not there is another religion called Caodaism prior to this visit. So it is actually an eye opener for me.

This trip can be combined with the Cu Chi Tunnel trip to make it a full day trip from Saigon.

Our third visit over the past 10 Years. About a 2 hr ride from Saigon. All day tours out of Saigon usually combine this Temple with a Cu Chi tunnels visit. The tours time your visit here so you can view the noon time ceremony which is truly a moving experience so be prepared to take many photos.
