This small hotel is very clean and comfortable. The shower may be the best I have ever had. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was generous and tasty. We loved sitting in the peaceful courtyard. Very close to Registan.
I stayed 4 nights at this guesthouse in Samarkand.
John, the owner, and his staff are incredibly warm and friendly. He kindly invited another visitor and me to dinner one night. We dined with his family and during the course of our lovely conversation, I learned so much about Uzbekistan from him.
My room was clean and well-prepared. New bottles of water were offered each day.
The breakfast - wow! - is varied and delicious.
It is located a short walk from Registran which is terrific for waking up early to get there at dawn/sunrise when there are few people. There are also a number of mini-markets and restaurants along the main road between the hotel and Registran.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It is located in a very convenient location. It is only a short walk to the Registan and most of Samarkands other attractions.
It is also within easy proximity of coffee shops and restaurants and an atm.
The hotel is authentic by design. It is not a plush hotel but rather rustic and charming.
The rooms are well presented and very clean. I actually had a 4 bed room for my stay. It had been the last room available and it was excellently priced.
There are tea and coffee making facilities and water provided in the room and the wifi was really good.
I thought the manager Odil was really friendly and helpful. He spoke good English and was more than happy to assist with any requests. He kindly arranged a taxi to Samarkand train station for me on the day of my departure.
The breakfast was generous and well presented. I thought the ladies working in the kitchen and the dining room were delightful.

Good location - just set back from Registan - easy 5/10 min walk. Safe, secure, quiet guest house - lovely breakfasts. Room warm and cosy with nice warm shower.
Samarkand is a great place to explore and this is a perfect location to do it from.

Room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very accommodating and courteous. Served very tasty breakfast. Located very close to Ragistan Square so we walked to see illumination at night in no time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
