Much variability in this hotel. Both nights of our stay a dog barked incessantly for a half hour at a time - midnight and 3 am, like nightmarish clockwork. Our room was in front of hotel but our friends on the courtyard side said it was quiet. Our beds fine but our friends’ was rock hard. Food awful - everything cooked but cold even at the start of breakfast. Our room was large and well equipped. Fast and affordable laundry service (but they charge you 50 Euros if you wash clothes in your sink).

Rooms clean, not very spacious...we've had same problems with the bed!
Good breakfast..but forget the dinner.
Of course you can find worsts accomodations in Samarcand, but surely there are better than this hotel

Cute pictures..that's all.
Breakfast. Cold..instantant coffee.
All food cold this includes fried eggs. Toaster needs new push down handles and needs to be more accessible. No fresh egg station.
Night restaurant food was very ordinary. Alcohol was more expensive than Tashkent city 5 star hotel. Still cheap by Australian prices.
They ran out of orange juice for vodka and orange. Ice had to be waited for coming from another area somewhere.
When bill arrived they had added the mashed potatoes brought with meal as an extra charge..even though not asked for. The beef dish order was inedible..
Rooms are small, bathroom tiny and bed exceptionally hard.
People all lovely but comfort was missing.
I would stay at another hotel if I came again.

Due to plenty of business trips to Samarkand I stayed in this hotel many times, plus I have opportunity to benchmark it Vs other hotels. I think it is the best hotel in Samarkand. Very welcome staff, clean rooms in good conditions, various of food for the breakfast.

The hotel is actually 2 buildings opposite each other across what can be a busy road. The service was okay. The food wasn't particularly great. The staff had an odd attitude towards tourist. However, it was a comfortable stay.
