Most restaurants we encountered in Uruguay are like this one with a seamingly endless array of pizza pasta and meat.... This one has a nice atmosphere is busy full so it took a while to get service. Had mashed spuds and a salad which was just lettuce tomato and some finely sliced onion.... Seems no restaurant in Colonia knows how to make interesting salads....pretty boring but the only vegetarian option if you are sick of pasta and pizza. Oil and balsamic vinegar provided with the salad.... Passable fare and not as expensive as some other places in Colonia.

A tipical place to eat from Uruguay. Highly recommended Chivitos and Olimpico. For dessert don't forget the CHAJA o postre Massini.

We had breakfast here on a holiday. We were the only customers at the time.Breakfast was scrambled eggs, ham, toast and coffee.
Service and food quality was fine,if slightly pricey.I believe this is a chain,as I saw this sign in other locations in Uruguay.

We stop here every time we are in town. Their pizzas are very good as is the rest of the menu. The menu is rather large and there is something for every one. The wait staff is attentive and the atmosphere is casual. I would recommend this place to anybody, two thumbs up.

We had the american breakfast for 310 UYU or approximately $9.20. We got tea, a really tiny glass (maybe 5oz or 150ml) of "orange juice" (though it was artificial so nothing but fructose and food colouring), four small pieces of white toast(one was partly burned), one little thing of butter and one small plastic thing of marmalade (extras are $1 each) and the only thing that took effort or small cost a small plate of eggs(I assume 2) with ham. That's right $9 for 2 eggs, toast and tea. I'm amazed they couldn't give actual orange juice. I didn't think it looked great for the price based on what it said, but I assumed you would get a decent portion of eggs and a decent sized glass of actual orange juice. In Uruguay they are supposed to give you a discount when paying with credit card which we have gotten everywhere else. When we asked about it she lied to our face and said it was only with VISA and that we would get it back the end of the month. When we asked other merchants they told us she simply lied to us. Thanks for topping off our worst experience in a restaurant ever with a blatant lie.
