We went for a night in the Spring when attending a wedding. The innkeeper Noelle could not have been more helpful - prior to our visit and while we were staying at this lovely inn. Our stunning suite in the main house was comfortable and spacious with a log-burning fireplace, daisy shower and lounge area - the decor was simple and elegant. The breakfast was delicious and all homemade. We were driven to the wedding in the hotel's SUV which is available to all guests and it is small details like this that make this place wonderful. Although the price is higher, it is worth every penny - spend a romantic weekend or use this as a base for the beach. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights at the Reform Club recently, and it is a fantastic place. (The previous reviews here seem to be for the hotel's precursor, the Mill Garth Inn. We never visited Mill Garth and have no idea about it, but the Reform Club opened about a year ago, in June 2009.)

The Reform Club, though, is pretty amazing. It is in a good location, close to the town of Amagansett and a short drive, walk or bike ride to the ocean. We stayed in a room in the main house, and it was beautiful. Very high ceilings, modern decor, fireplace, refrigerator, coffee maker, teapot all in the room, and the best bathroom/shower setup i have ever seen. King-sized Dux bed, ipod dock in the room, and speakers all over the place. The room was very spacious and one of the nicest in which we have ever stayed.

Hotel has a common room with a pool table and a couple of very large TV's, a nice little workout room, and a beautiful common kitchen, where breakfast is served in the morning. (Very nice, buffet style continental breakfast.) The hotel has a decent amount of property, including a really nice lawn area with chairs around the edges for quiet reading, relaxing, etc.

Staff was terrific. Super friendly, very energetic, always there when you needed them. The made restaurant reservations for us, got us menus from local places, set up bicycles for us, and even drove us back and forth to a restaurant 15 minutes away so that we could have a few drinks with dinner.

We visit the Hamptons fairly often, and have never seen anything close in quality to the Reform Club. Only negatives really are the lack of a swimming pool, and the cost. (We stayed off-season, and got below-peak prices as a result) It is an expensive place, but by Hamptons standards, and other high-end properties out there, we thought that it was very much worth it.

We decided to stay at the Millgarth during the holiday season, as we were invited to a New Years Eve party in Amagansett. It was hard to drag ourselves away from this fabulous Inn to attend our party. We stayed in the Hampton Suite which was far bigger than many apartments I've been in. Everything in the suite was perfect!! Not only were we able to walk into the village but also down to the ocean. What an ideal location!!As soon as we returned home we looked at our calendar and made a reservation for 5 nights in August. We can't wait to return!!

What a special place this is. Our suite was very large with a kitchenett, living-room, gorgeous bathroom and beautiful four poster canopy bed. The staff was warm, helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was delicious and how great that they serve until 11:30am.Hanging in the closet were the most wonderful robes. The best I've ever had at a hotel! What a location!! We could walk every-where yet the Inn was serene and peaceful. Everywhere you looked there were beautiful gardens and fountains. We highly recommend the Millgarth and we'll be back next year!!!
