“Just ok!”

The correspondence before staying at the villa was very good. We were told there would be a travel cot supplied and late check out/alternative provided. Unfortunately this was not the case. Cot was supplied after we chased the rep, then told we had to pay 5 EUROS per day! The check out was painful to say the least. Pick up was over an hour late and then didn't have a clue what he was going to do with our bags or us for that matter. The hotel around the corner accommodated us for the whole day...very lucky to have had them.

Now the villa - looks really nice on arrival, location is a bit out of the way and with 3 small children I wouldn't recommend if you wanted something close to the centre. The rooms were big and the facilities available were good, washing machine/dishwasher etc.. The villa it's self was a little tired, skirting boards damaged, hoover not working, bits of the kitchen hanging off, air con in the sitting room not working, glasses and tea cups missing and the standard of cleaning on arrival was poor. Mould in the bathrooms, trays not cleaned out properly balls of hair in the rooms and dust under the sofas. The patio door in one room did not close, we asked for it to be fixed 3 times but no one did. This resulted in my brother getting bitten alive at night time and the air con not working properly.

The pool area is very good, there is a large step down that with 3 kids was a little tricky but they go used to it. What we were not told was they had but a large amount of chlorine in the pool on the first day. This lead to 3 of our party having burnt eyes and a trip to the doctors. there are tiles missing from the pool and some of the drainage damaged. Again, all ok but just ok.

The holiday was lovely because of the people that we travelled with but the villa it's self was just ok.
