Hotel is situated on the Lycian way in the village Ovajik (Ovacik in turkish transcription). It`s possible to get to Oludeniz by 2 ways. First- by walk. We usually used this way in the morning because you go downstairs. Approximately 4 Km and 35-40 min. Second - by dolmush. We always come back using dolmush. Price: 3 TL- to Ovacik, 5 -Fethye. About hotel itself. 5 small houses and swimming pool with bar where the hotel owner usually sits. Breakfast is normal. Swimming pool is clean. We usually used it in the evenings. Room has normal size and balcony though it`s just groundfloor. Air-conditioner worked hard.

We stayed for one night whilst walking part of the Lycian Way and were shocked at how dilapidated the place was with an empty swimming pool and overgrown grass around. Our room was very basic - the electricity did not work and, although it was put back on, it soon went off again so it was impossible to use a hairdryer or the air con.
Breakfast was good and the position at the start of the walk is excellent but it needs attention as it could be so attractive.
On the plus side it was very cheap and excellent value for money.

Room tip: Ask for one of the updated bungalows

We arrived here after walking all day and in need of a cold drink of water...no cold water available unfortunately, and no glasses to have a drink either. No soap in the bathroom or shower curtain, so water goes everywhere.
No water in the pool, and bar area totally deserted.
Average, but cheap dinner.
Breakfast O.K. But nothing more.
I'm sure one could find a much better place close to the start of the Lycian Way, which is it's most favourable aspect....good location and quiet.

The room was adequate - clean and quiet. And it was really inexpensive, costing us only 80 TL /night. They had a really nice pool and they took meticulous care to keep it clean. They seem to take a lot of pride in their motel. In fact, one of the two brothers who are running the Sultan Motel told me they have been there running it for 30 years.
There was a safe in the room. That worked (once they changed the batteries). The refrigerator didn't work and had to be pronounced DOA. That's OK because at that price (80TL/night) who can complain? The breakfast was decent and it was really nice sitting out there by the pool and catching up on emails and Facebook. The Wifi didn't work in the room, so we had to go down by the pool to access the internet.
The motel sits fairly high up on the hill, juat a couple hundred yards from the start of the Lycean Way. It's a great location for trekkers, and suited us very well because we had a rent-a-car. It was easy to drive down to the beach. Because it's over 1500 feet above the Aegean, it's a bit cooler and more comfortable than staying at a hotel on the beach.

Room tip: We just took the one avaiable room. We can't help with which room to choose.

I booked this place quite late coming from Bodrum. The room was quite small but very tidy. The owner let us store our luggage from an extra 24hrs free of charge & was very helpful, would stay here again at the drop of a hat. Is also out of the hussle & bussle so very quite at night. Bus stop down the road straight into Fethiye!
