This hotel was absolutely terrible. The owner was incredibly rude the entire week we were there. On the day of check out, he entered the room as we were leaving and demanded to know where the towels were. My husband, tried to explain that they were left in the bathroom, but he kept yelling my husband in front of my two children, saying over and over in English and German: Where are the towels? Where are the towels? We are not interested in acquiring towels that have been used over 2,000 times, especially the dirty ones this hotel provides.

Please stay away from the Truva Hotel. The owner is rudest person we met in a country that is so warm and welcoming, especially to families.

Stay away from this hotel! The staff was so mean, especially the owner. He seems to be constantly angry and was very disrespectful to my wife, demanding "Give me the room key!" when the room needed to be cleaned. When my son was serving himself at the buffet, he jammed his finger in my back and barked at me "Please take care of your son!" The rest of the staff always seems sad and depressed. All of this made the hotel seem prison-like.

This is not the typical experience we had while travel for 6 weeks in Turkey. Most people were so friendly and love children. Here it was the opposite. We arrived after a 12 hour night bus from Goreme and our 2 year year was feeling grumpy. The owner told us angrily "Why is he making too much noise?" Even the staff seems afraid of the owner, who seems to be everywhere at all times, supervising every movement that everyone makes. They even keep track of how much you eat at the open buffet!

The hotel does have families, but everyone seems to just want to eat at the buffet and sit around the pool. Strangely enough, they also seem rather glum.

Definitely go to Fethiye, but stay away from the Truva hotel.

we booked a family room for myself husband and granddaughter, it had two separate connecting rooms which was ideal for us. the rooms were clean and had plenty of wardrobe space. staff were very helpful and courteous. breakfast was excellant. the open buffet in the evening was very good value for money. The swimming pool and surrounding garden area were well kept and clean. the distance to the beach was approx 100 metres and the hotel situated in a quiet area of town. Perhaps it could do with a little up dating but all in all a lovely little hotel.

This hotel is very small, so don't expect pool parties and social life here. I think the top number of people by the pool all at once were like 7 people! So NO need for running up early to reserve a sun bed :P That's nice. The food is nothing great - so we ate there only twice, which was fine cause the price was so cheap. We paid 280 euros each for the flight, hotel, breakfast and dinner for 1 week. That's insane. So we just ate elsewhere most of the time.

The hotel manager is an old grumpy man, and maybe he should be told, because it's a shame! The other workers are nice and smiling - so it's just him. He's like a hawk over the food buffet, to watch if people take more meat than rice or potatoes. We never saw him smile in 1 week. Not once! But don't let it ruin anything, because Calis beach area is GREAT, and there's great food and great people there.

Visit Sabri - english café with GREAT cakes and pies.
B52 - bar and lounge with GREAT people like Tarzan & Crazy Horse.
Saklikent - GREAT experience, google it and GO!
Nil - restaurant by Calis beach promenade with the best food in the city.
Muscle man - muscle with rice and lemon. It's great actually :D

Room Tip: Doesn't really matter I think. It is a very small hotel, so there´s not that many rooms anyway :)
