My husband and I, young 60/70"s independent travellers spent 5 nights in this hotel.
I was a bit worried about some of the reviews and also because it was so reasonably priced for the corner suite but we chose to stay here as it was one of the few hotels in Kusadassi with a lity. My husband has a bit of a problem with his hip and climbing a lot of stairs can cause him pain.
When we arrived we were met and out suitcases were wisked up the 5 or so stairs by the bellboy (also the waiter at times), so he is not always outside. We were given a friendly welcome by the Manager who was on front desk. Check in was quick and were shown to our room.
It was so much better than I expected. It was the corner suite overlooking the ocean with sliding doors and a blacony all round. It think that it was on the 3rd floor. It was large and the bathroom was also large and very, very clean. The bed was extra comfortable.
Yes early in the night it could be a bit noisy with traffic but by the time we came home from dinner at around 11pm we didnt find it so noisy though there are still some cars.
We dont like to use the airconditioning so we always slept with the sliding doors open slighty and the curtains almost but not fully closed to keep out the sun in the morning.
We slept wonderfully every night. The breakfast was fine and served on the rooftop every morning with wonderful views. I would say the breakfast staff were a bit slow to clean up and replenish food but this was the only complaint we had.
The restaurant served very good food in the evening overlooking the street and in fact there was often a line of people who wernt staying at the hotel waiting for a table.
The staff on reception were very helpful and happy to give directions, maps, information about buses etc.
The location was excellant we thought. A little away from the centre of Kusadasi and the Grand Bazaar and the other Bazaars (about 10 mins walk, along the front and down a side street), but all the better for that as we didnt have bars/restaurants with blaring music all night to put up with.
It was about a 20 min walk to the bus station, but a number of buses actually came past the hotel depending where you were going.
I would recommend staying here and booking the corner suite on a higher floor as it was a very comfortable room.
