After reading some scary reviews about this hotel i decided i wasnt going to go until my mates persuaded me 3 days before the flight, and i am so happy i went! i went with about 12 others and we all were all inclusive which was about £250 for the week! The staff are excellent and there is always food and drink available with great choices from turkish buffet style food to pizza and chips! there is unlimited amount of drinks and booze so i relaxed by the pool and had a few to many and got burnt but all was ok. In the town of kusadasi the locals are great fun and jimmys irish bar i can say was probably the only bar we went in because of the free drinks!! a few little men breakdancing in here though was great entertainment! There is lots of entertainment going on in kusadasi and there is something for everyone. I found the hotel to be quite clean and the maid cleaned our room every day. i only took 200 lira for the week and still came back with 30 and went out every night! this holiday will be a holiday to remember i had a brilliant time and cant wait to go back! Also i met my fiance there we have been together nearly 7 months, it was love at first sight!

enjoy your holiday!

On first arriving at the hotel and seeing the pool area we asked some of the holiday makers where the main pool area was but were informed that this was the only pool area. To say the least it was small and definately the smallest hotel pool i've ever seen. Also the food served at the pool bar was burger, chips and pizza which is not really to our taste as we prefer healthier options but for people who like fast food and 5 part cordial to 1 part water its great. This inital dissappointment didn't cause a problem in the end as every day after breakfast we took a leisurely stroll down to the harbour (about 10 mins) and hopped on a bus which takes about five mins to the local beach which is gorgeous whith stunning views and some very nice harbour resaurants.

The hotel staff were really friendly, the room was very basic and 2 starish but it was clean and the chamber maids took alot of pride folding clean towels and bedding into heart shapes ect... which we thought was a lovely touch. The harbour view we had from the balcony was amazing (we didn't see any building sights!)

The food was plentiful with quite a few choices and especially good if you like salads as plenty of stuffed peppers, pasta dishes ect. The food on the whole wasn't great but it wasn't really bad either. The chefs seem to go to alot of trouble presenting the food really eloquantly and were lovely and friendly.

Overall the hotel wasn't great probably about a 2* but if you like us paid a bargain price of about £250 all inc it is well worth it as it makes for a great base. We fell in love with Turkey whilst we were here and are retuning to another part of Turkey again this year. By the way you MUST visit pamukalle while you are here its an amazing place but instead of going on an organized trip hire a car for the day as you don't get long there and you need a whole day really.

Hope this is helpful to people.

One of our best holidays yet. A holiday is what you make of it so dont pay too much attention to all the bad mouth reviews just experinece turkey and the friendly hotel staff for yourself and make your own mind up.

You get what you pay for, we were looking for a cheap holiday in the sun with a bit of culture and thats exactly what we got.

People moaned about the food but there was plenty to choose from - if your looking for a breakfast fry up and steak pie and chips try a weekend in Blackpool. We chose all inclusive cause its simple and you dont have to worry about money, but we always like to try out the local restaurants at least once. the hotel staff recommended a lovely restaurant in town - The Rigola - good turkish cuisine and cheap with it. ok bar choice was limited but it included alll the basics - and I never saw the bar staff use left overs

The staff were lovely too, fun and friendly and well mannered, we had a beautiful view and the rooms were spotless and cleaned daily so too was the pool, although pool area is a bit small and i can imagine there being a bit of a battle for beds at high season - but when you are in such a wondeful country - why would you want to sit at the pool all day every day

We went on a few trips which were enlightning and fun, the Ephesus is a must see, the Turkish Night was great entertainment, there might not have been much going on at the hotel but that didnt seem to matter we still enjoyed ourselves. all the guests and staff chatted amongst each other and made some friend.

For those that like a bit of retail therapy then you are spoilt for choice, you get used to the locals hounding you and trying to haggle, have a go its fun and you can get a real bargain - we bought our wedding rings - they are unique

It was An Enjoyable and Relaxing Week and One to Remember. I Would Definitely Go Back.

after booking the holiday over the phone and getting a almost too good to be true price for a family of five, we read some of the reviews and they were scary ,so we went with the attitude that it was a cheap holiday and not to expect too much. all i can say to all those who had a bad experience is that you must have gone to a different hotel, we had fantastic friendly staff who could not do enough for you, we had three rooms to choose from as the first one was overlooking a building site, the receptionist was more than happy to change rooms till we were satisfied, all the rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily and the maids left towel sculptures on the beds which the children couldn't wait to see every day!.

the food was tasty and varied and the pool bar served lovely pizza and chips, there is a small charge for ice creams but they are still cheaper than England, the pool was spotless and the water was regually checked, the only complaint we had was the pool music was a little repetitive and loud sometimes. A man visits the hotel daily to offer trips to diamond beach which we highly recommend, it was clean and they include burger, chips and drink in the price together with your sunbed and parasol, the kids loved this as you can buy toffee apples and candyfloss from beach sellers!

we enjoyed this holiday,it is for families who could not afford to go abroad otherwise ,just don't go expecting an english four star it is more of a three, if all you want is a lot of sun in a clean friendly hotel then this is for you, bring a pack of cards for evening entertainment as it is limited to high season ,but stay in for the turkish night as it was hilarious. we will go back even if its for a week, we were pleasantly surprised by the whole thing!!!!

We have just returned from a the Pigale Panorama and we had a good time. All the bad reports are from people who would probably moan even if there was nothing to moan about.
So the hotel was up a hill, most hotels are in this part of the world (ever been to Porto Rico in Gran Canaria). If didn't want to walk the taxi fare from the town was less than £2.
The staff in the hotel were all courteous and very friendly. The cleanliness was second to none. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels. The cleaner even made shapes out of the towels an put them on you bed. see picture.
The quality of the food was good, hot and cold selection. There was always enough and if you wanted more you could get it.
People complain about the lack of entertainment. There was some live entertainment three times a week. One small problem was, although it wasn't really a problem, was that there were two bars and they only opened one up at a time, which meant that you had to walk to the other when you wanted a drink. The choice of free alcohol was similar to other All inclusives, local alcohol, the whisky wasn't too bad. Beer was Tuborg.
I have to agree with some that the hotel is not really suited to families with small children as there is a lack of facilities for them. The pool is adequate and clean. It is cleaned every morning.
I do not know why people moan about this hotel, perhaps they would moan about every place they have been to.
I will be going back here and hopefully the moaning minnies wont.
We only went on two trips (cheaper if you book in town) The boat trip £7 including lunch was really good value. Away all day. The Ephesus trip is a must, although if you have difficulties walking it might be tiresome as you have to walk about 2.5 Km, my wifes mother did it and she is 85.
Over all it was a good holiday and we could not fault the hotel. It only a seasonal hotel and closes on Sunday for the winter.
We will be back
