Just returned from a 2 week holiday .... great time. Most people comment on the room size as being a negative but everything else outways this. I always think how long am I in my room apart from sleeping? What is great after holidaying in Greece is the money you save on a free safe, aircon and fridge plus no charge for beds and umbrellas ...! There is also a kettle and mugs so take coffee and tea if you enjoy these in your room! (There is a small supermarket close by that sells tea/coffee). The beds and quilts are excellent and if you have the aircon on low it is quiet! We loved the Dogan Beach, breakfast sat by the open window right on the beach front, pool bar great and all the staff smartly dressed and polite taking time to chat to you. Our cleaning lady who couldn’t speak much English would always greet you with a smile and leave you with a towel decoration on your bed! The resort of Side is so handy with different areas to go to each night for a meal. The hotel restaurant serves good meals with attentive waiter service. We had the set meal for 2, excellent whilst listening to a couple of singers whilst we ate. The beach was great, even had bar service! The pool area was good with plenty of trees for shade. Our friends and us had a housekeeping issue which was dealt with immediately by the maintenance staff, no waiting to be repaired. One final happy end was the lady on reception opened the door for us when we left for the airport and wished up a good flight! We had a great holiday at such a well situated and well run hotel and would definitely come back.

We visited Side for 1 week at the beginning of September and stayed at the Sunprime Dogan Beach hotel. The hotel is adults only, which is great, right on the beach and a 10 - 15 minute walk along the promenade into the centre of Side. Our room was a lot smaller than expected even though we knew the rooms were small. If you look at the photos of the rooms we had about 12 inches between the end of the bed and the wall with no table as is shown in many photos. We were on the top floor in a room at the very end of a block. This is the only reason I have given the hotel 4 stars instead of 5. In all other aspects the hotel was perfect. We stayed all inclusive. The meals were excellent and we had no complaints with the drinks available. The hotel is relatively small so had a good feel about it, the staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotless. We had no problems with getting sunbeds at the pool or at the beach and the wifi coverage around the hotel was generally good, sometimes a little hit and miss in our room. The hotel is in a good location and we enjoyed our stay in Side which is an interesting place to explore with all the old ruins. One tip is to take Euro's as everything is priced in Euro's including a lot of the bars and restaurants.

My husband and I have just come back from our 11 night stay here and we loved it. For us, the hotel was perfect - lovely intimate setting, very friendly & welcoming staff and AMAZING food. The drinks were extremely generous as well - beer served as pints, huge glasses of wine (plus a carafe with your evening meal) and strong cocktails (a little too strong for me, but that makes a change to other places we've stopped!) Plus the restaurant and bar staff always served the drinks to your table during lunch & dinner, and if you were sat in the bar area as well, which was lovely.
The room was very modern, little peculiar when it came to the bathroom situation, but nothing that we didn't get used to (let's just say it's a good job we've been together for 10 years!) and let's face it, the pictures definitely show what to expect, so wasn't a surprise! The balcony was surprisingly spacious - perfect size for the 2 of us!
Location-wise - you couldn't get any better! Right on the beach and only a 10/15 minute walk to the incredible Side Old Town.
The only downsides to this hotel, and these are extremely minor - because there are so many trees in the hotel grounds it was difficult to be a sun-worshipper around the pool as you often ended up in the shade so there was often a lot of bed hopping for those of us that wanted to be in the sun; the section of beach that was right in front of the hotel was rather narrow and therefore very busy, however, towards the end of our holiday we did realise it was much easier to get a bed after lunch; the last minor thing was the lighting in the room wasn't great, especially as we had to shut the curtains to get ready as there was no proper bathroom - just a big light above the bed would have been fab. Honestly though, these points are very minor!

I would definitely recommend this hotel, if you are looking for something small, relaxed and in the heart of everything. Oh, and I would also HIGHLY recommend a Turkish Bath from the on site massage therapist - incredible!!

Room tip: The higher floor rooms have a little more privacy - sectioned off balconies rather than open terraces.

Myself and my partner stayed here for two weeks all inclusive and could not fault the hotel or staff at all. The selection of food and drinks in the all inclusive was amazing, especially as I am a fussy eater but the fresh breads and salads and rice dishes were delicious. The staff were nothing but welcoming and friendly and really made you feel at home; the drink service by the pool and at the beach was a really nice touch. Our room was very spacious and very clean and modern with a nice shower/en suite. The hotel grounds are beautiful with lots of trees and plants and the hotel itself is right on the beach next to other bars/restaurants. The all inclusive drinks selection was amazing; so many cocktails to choose from and the bar staff always made sure you had a drink in your hand. Myself And my partner have had the best holiday and cannot thank the staff enough! We would highly recommend this hotel. :)

We recently visited in August for 2 weeks and found the hotel far better than I expected , the rooms were quite small but had everything you needed and were kept very clean , the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and I had probably the best sleeps Ive ever had in any hotel , which trust me is saying something. , the pool area was kept very clean and with the 09.30 sunbed rule been endorsed by the staff it actually meant nobody saved sunbeds and people just went to the pool when they wanted to use the beds , this way no panic was created and there were always plenty of beds to choose from , the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely fine with plenty of choice , overall we had one of the best holidays we have ever had , great hotel , fantastic location ,beautiful resort and everything really well priced , only negative was the Lime bar near our hotel who on our first night charged us £14 for 2 gin and tonics , didn't go there again and certainly wouldn't recommend it .
