Arrived at hotel late around 11.30 at night - unfriendly welcome. Asked if we could get a drink at hotel but told no drinks available. Was shocked that there was no lift in our building even though it mentioned on booking.com that all higher floors were accessible by lift. Room on 4th floor was small and very warm - luckily it had airco.! The suite room had sloping ceilings which I banged my head on several times. The curtain in the room didn't close properly. The pool was small but nice - no drinks or snacks served at pool area. Had to buy drinks at shop close by. Breakfast ok but same things every day and not a great choice. The guy at reception was more interested in finding himself a different girlfriend every day than the wellbeing of the guests. The other staff could not speak any English and would do nothing to help you. The leaves around the pool terrace were not even swept up and there were ants on terrace tiles around sunbeds. Location was good as close to Kas harbour and many nice restaurants and bars. I would not come back to this hotel - there are much nicer places in Kas. Kas itself is beautiful.

Habesos Hotel is in a fairly central location but not good if you are unable to walk up and down hill and manage fairly steep steps around the hotel itself ,parking is at a premium so it's not possible to use a car around the immediate vicinity and it's basically a one way system around town.
Hotel is clean, basic ,there is a lift but very small, pool is great kept very clean ,plenty of loungers and chairs in sun all day long ,breakfast is good no need to go hungry and the beach and Harbour close by (remember the hill) good transit hotel for a couple of nights when visiting beautiful Kas it's quaint ,peaceful, and well worth a visit if you are in the area,we also went to Meis by ferry it too is worth a visit (but with the latest political arguments between Greece and Turkey not sure how long this will be viable )anyway as you approach Meis, Ballamory comes to mind, the houses are very alike and all different colours ,queuing in the sun was not so good as you have to go through passport control both entering and leaving what this would be like in high season ? Would not bear thinking about we were one of two ferries arriving together and it took a good 45 mins to get in,we made sure we were back well in time to get processed and on board early on leaving,of course being Greece Euro was the currency as well as £ but not TL.
We ate lunch at a really good resturaunt Pork Chops were excellent a must is the blue cave visit wow not going to say more you just have to do it our skipper was the father of the resturaunt owner both great characters ,would we go again no ,I don't think so been done dusted, but so glad we did.

Room Tip: Front top good views but slightly noisy at the back

Well deary deary me, we have just left beautiful Kas where everybody makes you feel welcome, apart from the staff at this hotel.
Extremely rude staff, especially the young boy who helps with the luggage, when you said hello he would spit out something unintelligible behind your back which he thought that you couldn't understand, but fortunately for myself I understood only too well to be an expletive in Kurdish.
Even the maids, when you greeted them with a cheery "meraba" would mimic you when they thought you were out of earshot!!!
Getting onto the beds!!!! The most uncomfortable beds we as a family have ever slept in, very very uncomfortable!!!
The coup de grace was when we paid the bill with my uncle (who is from Kas), they asked if we would leave them a good review!!!
If I could give no score I would most definitely do so, I would never stay nor recommend this hotel to anybody.
We stayed at the Nur hotel last time we were in Kas & it was excellent but no availability this time to my regret.
