We had an amazing holiday and the villa and Korsan team were fantastic – it was so good to have everything beautifully well-organised and know that we could ask someone helpful and friendly if we had any problems.
Thank you to everyone at Korsan who made our stay run so smoothly. This was our first time in Turkey and although friends had told us how beautiful Kalkan and the surrounding area would be and that the Villa Majorelle was spacious and fitted out to a very high standard, we were all still surprised and impressed by just how lovely it was.
It was a special family holiday with three young people in their twenties and the location and facilities were perfect. We arrived late at night and so pulling back the curtains to see the view for the first time was very exciting – miles of sea and sky, hills and islands with beautiful light and colour. The well-kept outside area was the best bit. Apart from swimming in our own pool with that lovely view and surrounded by brilliant pink bourganvillea, there was room to eat, barbecue, play games, watch the sunset and the boats, do a workout, in fact we didn’t really want to go inside! However that was very spacious too and elegantly decorated in cool colours with Turkish ceramics and textiles, luxurious bathrooms (the”children”had one each!) and all the facilities you could possible want. There is so much to do in the area and we visited ancient ruins, took wonderful boat trips, enjoyed eating out and swimming in the sea but there is always the option to relax at the villa in perfect surroundings. Ten days just wasn’t long enough!
