This has got to be one of the most beautiful apartments in Kalkan. When you first enter the development you know you've booked somewhere very special. The location is superb - a short stroll down to the harbour, either along Kalamar Road or through the olive groves and down the side of the bay. The architectural design and build of the retreat has been very well planned and constructed. It is a beautiful and unusual building giving you the feel that the apartments are actually villas. We stayed at Kugu which is absolutely stunning. It is bright and airy with travertine flooring throughout. The ground floor has a gorgeous, very modern open plan room with the lounge, dining area and kitchen. There are patio doors out to your private balcony. There is a lovely twin room and a family bathroom/shower room on this floor. Walk upstairs to the master suite and be prepared to be amazed! This is a stunning room with a huge balcony (bigger than some terraces!) with stunning views out over the bay. This is the perfect place to enjoy your nightcap. Light some candles sit back and watch the lights twinkling on the water across the bay. This apartment actually really made our holiday more special. Outside, the pool area is stunning and the pool is huge, the design and layout makes you feel like you have the place to yourself!
Kalkan is a wonderful place to visit and we have been many times, however staying at Kugu really gave our holiday the wow factor. The apartment is the most beautiful I have ever seen and the location is just perfect. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
The owners Gonca and Yardan were just lovely. Nothing was ever too much bother for them and they are exceptionally knowledgeable about the local area.
