Not a 5 star hotel. Mediocre service, even worse food and very poor internet. Hopefully there are better than this in Antalya. On the plus side, my boys enjoyed the slides (when they were open) despite the very cold water temperature.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this hotel. And even when (minor) things go wrong, the hotel staff handles every complaint with great attitude.
We can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a sun vacation without worries.

My husband, son (age 7) and I just came back from a week at the Delphin Diva Premiere. We had a truly lovely time!

We arrived around 9:30am; check-in is 2pm but they gave us our wristbands on arrival, suggested we get breakfast as we'd been travelling throughout the night, and when finished to come back to them. Sure enough, our room was ready earlier than the official check-in time, and we then had a great time exploring the resort.

Our room (#1403) faced the new Delphin Imperial hotel, and had a view of the Mediterranean as well. [It was fascinating watching the day-to-day of the building works at the Imperial - every day something else had changed. They must be very close to opening and the only thing I would suggest is that Diva Premiere guests should have curtains that are blackout curtains as the light from the Imperial does come in the room at night.]

Where else do I begin? The resort was large, full for the week before Easter. I was worried about the temperature in early April but needn't have been - we had perfect sun conditions the whole time. The outdoor pools were clean but as others have stated frigid due to it being early in the season. We did swim in the indoor pool (note: the jacuzzi is not hot, but the same temperature as the pool). We also swam in the Med which was clear, surprisingly warm (warmer than the outdoor pools) and lovely. Yes, the beach is a sand beach but it's not sugar-sand like you'd get in Bermuda. It was fine and there was convenient showers and footwashes before heading back up to the hotel. My son loved loved LOVED the big waterslides when they were open!

There were plenty of sun loungers and adorable huts with giant pillows (pink and green) for relaxing in. You could also book a hut with frilly curtains if you wanted to (extra charge) but we didn't see the point. The week we were there the hotel guests were mostly German, and we (being fair) were always mistaken at first for being German and greeted with a cheery "Guten Morgen." :) Our attempts at Turkish were warmly received (please, thank you, good morning, etc.) and most staff were able to speak English, some better than others as you'd expect.

This is a family resort, so while it was all inclusive, there were no "lager louts" or drunken behaviour about - just families and couples enjoying themselves. It was really lovely.

The food was phenomenal. There was so much choice at every meal, and food was available at all times. While the hotel does cater for the German market, it was great food, well prepared, and delicious. There were many Turkish specialties on offer as well which we loved (boregi, baklava, gozleme (Turkish pizza) etc.). The patisserie in the lobby was a temptation we regularly gave in to!

The bars were fantastic. We tended to go to the pool bar or the lobby bar, both of which were excellent hangout areas when you just wanted to chill out. Around the pool the waiters/waitresses take your orders and deliver them whilst wearing rollerskates. Neçla was our favourite of the rollerskating waitresses, and Sinan in the lobby bar was our favourite overall. We were treated exceptionally well and always within seconds were asked what we wanted to drink. Finished drinks were collected immediately. Oh and my son was in love with Rainbow Juice, a 7-layer non alcoholic kids cocktail with a sparkly straw. :) The Lobby is also where they had live music in the evenings. As it was early in the season there weren't any shows as depicted on the website, but it didn't matter to us as we were tired in the evenings after the busy day relaxing!

My son is edging towards being too old for the kids club but he wanted to go every morning! Mufide and her team managed the kids beautifully. The kids club is next to a small park area with climbing wall, swings, and a paddling pool too, all of which my son loved. Every night he couldn't wait for the kids' Mini Disco - they played the same songs every night, but the kids liked it that way because it gave them the chance to learn all the routines!

The LunaPark was a big hit for my son (it's the funfair with the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, Pirate Ship and swings). It's open for an hour per day (15:30-16:30) and had popcorn, rainbow juice, and cotton candy/candyfloss for the kids.

Our room was fine - though we were hardly in it! The resort's cleaning standards are impeccable.

We didn't use the spa though people we spoke to said the Turkish bath was excellent.

We did hire a car for one day at the hotel desk. Note - they only take cash and like everything else in the hotel (shops, etc.) it is priced in Euros. We did go to the Antalya Museum which was excellent (you know how all-inclusives can make one a bit lazy so we thought a cultural expedition would be a good idea). Driving in Turkey is not for the faint of heart though! :)

One word about postcards - they're too expensive in the hotel, so just go to the little shopping market off the grounds to get them (10 for 1 €). However, don't buy your stamps there - the lady overcharges on the stamps and wants you to pay 3 lira for a 2 lira stamp. I was happy to have found that the Antalya airport has a post office open from 10:00 - 16:00 and there was no outrageous mark up.

All in all we had a fantastic holiday in the sun and would highly recommend it. I've been to Sandals in Jamaica and in the Bahamas - but the Delphin Diva Premiere was better. There was so much to do, or not do, if you just wanted to relax in the sun. Staff knew us by name, which made it feel like the huge hotel was actually a small, family run affair. The service standards were impeccable and I have no qualms about recommending the hotel to family, friends (and you the reader, of course!).

Stayed here from 28 March 2012 for one week. On arrival we were offered the choice to move into a 'more expensive' seaview room in the Delphin Palace next door. After going there we asked for a transfer back to the diva, as the palace room was dreary and overlooked a waste ground with partial seaview. The diva standard room was compact in size and more in line with rooms we have encountered on city breaks where space comes at more of a premium! Having said that, it was not a major issue, as our stay here was pleasant and we appreciated the daily restocking of the mini bar, included in the all inclusive concept.

The cleaning of the room was done at different times by different women (not the one I tipped at start), this was done to a basic standard and there were never any personal touches I hear about and several gripes I had each time like cups not being washed, clothes being flung off the bed and left there and toiletries not regulary restocked.

The bed was a tad firm and contributed towards poor sleep as well the AC only blowing out cold air in their main summer, but with night temperature of approx 12 celcius this was not good - had to leave balcony door open but when the outside workers begin work at 5 or 6 in morning, we had to close it again.

The main amber restaurant was nice at first with reasonable choice if your open to trying different food. The seating areas are separated with different designs, in particular the one for the families with young children, which included a play area. We did get tired of having 3 meals a day here at times when we did not have the a la carte reservation. We went to the chinese, italian and mexican (margarita) and they did not dissapoint - the food here was more the type you get when you go to a normal restaurant, with good quality food and very good service.

As it was the end of the low season, some things were not open, like the 'le kebab' restaurant, which I was dissapointed about. It seemed more things were becoming alive as we came into the month of April, like they built and opened up the peer, the amber restaurant was much busier, and there was generally more of a buzz around.

For kids, there is the mini club, which I'm not sure about because there were mostly german speaking kids there, and we shortly left due to boredom for my 19 month old. The outside playground was a better option with decent equipment in a nice environment. The fair ground area offered 5 options for the little ones between 3.30-4.30pm. There is also the games room, which is like your typical bowling alley with pool/snooker tables and amusement arcade - these were all extra and not included in the all inclusive (prices similar to uk). There were 2 cinema showings each day which I did not use, as the kids showing is at 7pm (meal time) and later showing at 9pm. Various movies available but very few in english.

There was also good equipment in the gym, which is split up between cardio and weights. It was not too busy here and open throughout the day as was the indoor heated swimming pool. We went to the seesha/water pipe cafe unaware that it had a 5 euro charge, and there was no flavour added either.

Overall, this is a pleasant hotel with good facilities. The staff are friendly with exception of a few guys in the amber with blue shirts (I think these could be higher managers).
