“The charming Villa Turka Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2012

My partner Ian and I stayed at this small family run hotel this year and our stay could not have been better. I cannot recommended it enough for anyone visiting Alanya. The location of the hotel is fantastic, hidden away inside the historic Alanya castle with a breathtaking view across the sea. Our room was lovely, in fact all the rooms we were able to see were gorgeous and decorated with beautiful furnishing by the mother of the family. The hotel breakfast was also lovingly prepared by her each morning. Everything on the table was organic and fresh. Vegetable and fruit from their own land, cheese made from the milk of the own goats. She really is an amazing chef who would give any 5 star restaurant chef a run for their money. All the staff members including the son and daughter of the family were so helpful and kind, always willing to help you with anything you might need. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a hotel where the pleasantness of my stay was the priority of the hotel staff quite to the degree I experienced at Villa Turka!

A rare adress, full of charm, in a beautifully restored traditional house. Rooms very clean, nicely decorated, of different sizes. Lots of small balconies to enjoy the stunning view of the harbour and the bay. Situated in the old town above the sea, it is quieter than most in Alanya, secluded in an area preserved of the gaudiness and the cheap buildings. The service is extremely kind and courteous, the huge breakfast is probably the best of all the turkish coast, made of local organic products, cooked with refinement, turkish pastries and patties, home grown vegetables and fruit, honey and cheeses from the family. The only problem is that one does not want to leave...

This place is a little gem on the side of a hill next to the castle. The room was very clean and seemed to be renovated recently. For the price, we couldn't have asked for more. The staff was excellent and very attentive. We had a room with a balcony and the view was fantastic! We had a panoramic view of the entire harbor. After a day at the beach we would come back to our room, have tea, and sit on the balcony and watch as the boats returned from their day trip. This isn't a luxury place, but it was so nice and relaxing. The harbor and the city center was a short walk down the hill.

All in all, pleasantly surprised and I would definitely consider a return trip!

This place is absolutely wonderful. This family run hotel fulfills every wish. They are extremely helpful and warm hearted. The breakfast blows your mind. All garden grown und cooked by the owner herself. The rooms are individually decorated. The beds are perfect. The view over Alanya is stunning.
The only drawback is the music from the harbour at night. Don't forget your earplugs.
But I would still recommend this hotel. You won't regret your stay.

The Hotel Villa Turka is a beautiful hotel. Everything is clean & tidy and the rooms are traditional & cosy. The views from my room & balcony where absolutely amazing! Stunning panoramic views of Alanya bay!
The best part of this hotel is the friendly welcoming service we received from the owners. It is a small hotel, and they made us feel so welcome and nothing was any trouble.
The traditional turkish breakfast we had was superb, everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Can't wait to return - Thanks guys
