We (20s couple) had a great week at Les Orangers in March and are now looking to return next April (when its a little hotter). That was the only problem we had - the weather. It was rubblish - too cold to swim in the pool :( But even that couldn't spoil the week as Les Orangers really is that good! Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is much better than expected from AI and the choice was impressive - three themed restaurants (Italian, Tunisian, Asian) and these menus change mid-week, beach buffet restaurant, beach pizza bar, beach wok, pool burgers, pool pizzas, hotel buffet restaurant - loads of choice! Food was decent too, well prepared and fresh. But the thing that made the holiday most special was the excellent animation team headed up by Mido! Mido and his pal Dido were excellent and made sure that everyone was always having a good time without getting in anyone's face or being even slightly pushy. Can't say enough good things about Mido - if you go here he will definitely feature in your holiday! Staff overall were great and we were never without a freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka by the pool - and we never had to get up to get our own once. Tip - don't ask for a mojito though - I think this just translates as mouthwash in Tunisia. Plenty of other choice though - try the 'champagne', fresh orange vodkas, cafe creme (made by Monty) or... the buka!

We have just returned from Les Orangers hotel and beach resort on Sunday after a 2 week family holiday. My first impressions of the hotel weren’t very good but as time went on it grew on me. We arrived at the hotel after delays at Manchester airport and Enfida airport as the baggage took over an hour to be taken off the plane, we were bundled into a little room just off reception and told in no uncertain terms to sit down and fill in some forms. Whilst filling in the forms we were given some cold towels (very much appreciated) and some weird drink that was revolting. We were given a quick speech on the hotel, our door keys, and our bracelets and led outside and told to wait for a porter. After about 10-15 minutes waiting for a porter we all started to get a bit restless as we had had so many delays on the way. There were approximately 15-20 people off our plane waiting for one porter, when I suggested to the manager/reception staff that were stood outside with us that I would take my own cases to the room I was told to be quite and just wait. This as you can imagine was not a great start, we then waited another 5-10 minutes before the single porter turned up. I found the reception staff/manager very rude but I will go into that further into my review. Eventually the porter took us to our room which was 20 yards from the front door that we had been sat waiting at for 25 minutes, once the porter dropped our cases his hand was out after a tip! At that point I then knew why they insisted on us waiting for the porter, so he could get some tips!
When we finally got to the room it was clean and tidy, upon checking the TV, fridge and air con we found that the only one that was working was the Air con. I complained immediately about the TV and Fridge to reception and yet again was confronted by very rude and un-helpful staff. The fridge was replaced about 3-4 times and eventually left in the middle of the floor as if it was left any closer to the TV and the TV wouldn’t work! I think we complained about 6-7 times about both the TV and the fridge and we eventually gave up on the TV. Every time we complained we found the reception staff rude, obnoxious and very un-helpful, this was a big let-down as all the other staff in the hotel were amazing. From cleaners to bar staff they were all amazing except the reception!
The hotel was great and kept very clean, the lay out was excellent and we really enjoyed all the gardens and flowers. The beach restaurant was excellent with a great view out to sea, the al-a-carte meals where ok most of the time, we had our best and worst meal in the beach restaurant. The food was interesting with a huge choice in the buffet restaurant, I did have a dose of food poisoning and ended up going to the local chemist for a remedy but I can’t put my finger on exactly what caused it!
Overall we had a nice family holiday and have already booked to go back again next year, the main reason for us re-booking is the value for money!

Room Tip: Dont go on any of the organised trips Tip small & often

Good Points:
Entertainment crew exellent, very talented.
Staff very polite and friendly.
Lovely clean beach.

Bad Points:
We were in room 214, room needs refurbishing badly.
The balcony was a disgrace, falling to bits.
Arrived back on the 1st of July, on Tuesday evening previous got a chicken kebab when turned over it was raw, complained to management who was very apologetic, said he would speak to chefs and it wouldnt happen again. On the thursday evening, had crayfish which was also raw...so much for him speaking to the chefs!!! So on theses bad points would deifnatley not be returning.

Room Tip: Either bungalows or luxury rooms.
