After i read all the bad reviews i booked the presidential suite to get better confort after being hospitalised but I Arrived to the hotel to find that the suite is dirty, dust everywhere, empty beer bottles in the kitchen, brocken curtains, brocken sanitary and worst is noisy restoration work next to our suite at 8 am ,Room service took over 2 hours to deliver food and food quality was mediocre . Was planning to stay a week and cancelled the second day. A nightmare

Good location but that's it. The food is below average, facilities are below sea level. Personnel and nice staff shoud be classified as protected species (becoming more and more rare). You should plan for a Zen vaccination after visiting this hotel.

I really can't understand how this hotel can be a 5 star hotel! They must've bribed someone to get their 5sth star or sth! I've been to many 5 star hotels both inside and outside of Tunisia and this hotel doesn't measure up to any of them at all! I've been to lots of 4star hotels that are way better than this one!
Had a problem checking in and the employee at reception was so rude and unaccommodating. We were 6 families with 3 babies and 3 push chairs and they put us on the second floor in a building with no lifts! Even though the main building that has lifts had a lot of empty rooms.
Bathrooms all around the hotel are dirty and doesn't have toilet paper, there was poop on the toilet seat in the bathroom next to the pool and my 3 year old wouldn't use it and kept saying mummy it's dirty and it smells! Not a single complimentary water bottle in the room, and room service takes ages! Also our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay, there was one towel when we got to the room and it took them ages to bring us more.
One of the staff here told us make sure you keep your stuff in the safe as we've had some stealing incidents!
We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't sleep both nights because of the extremely loud music that kept going on until 4am! Imagine trying to put your babies and kids to sleep in such a noise, let alone sleep yourself!
Don't recommend it at all, specially for that price! The price of an expensive 5 star hotel without any of the services! Definitely a waste of money!

I just want to thank the personal at the hote, especially Rabeh at the reception, Baraket the bell man. And the cleaning lady for our room 1244, I forgot her name. And not to forget Mme Aida took care of our business presentation and the lunch boxes. I mentioned these personal because they showed great professionalism and courtesy. The other front desk personal need some more training that's why I only mentioned the perfect ones. Great job overall and great thanks to the servers at the inside bar. If you go there I'll hope you'll deal with these personals, because they are the one that made me feel to go back to the royale resort and hotel at Yasmine hammamet.

I stayed there for few days on a business trip. It was a busy week, two conferences were happening at the hotel at the same time. Which was overwhelming for the staff. It took a long time to find our confirmation and check us in. Then surprisingly, I took my key and went up to my assigned room to find that someone is already in there!! not a good start.. Although this is an unacceptable incident by all means, but the front desk ladies apologized and gave me another room immediately. Weirdly there were three beds there, but this time no one was there at least!

The staff are very friendly in general and would try their best to make your stay a good one. The hotel is huge and I believe it was a really nice resort at some point, but unfortunately it is worn out now, it needs a lot of work to renovate, clean and fix things. The bed was comfortable though..

We had all three meals in the hotel, the buffet food was nice. There was a live grilling station; omelettes and pancakes in the morning, grilled meats in the evening. Also a lot of traditional dishes, which is nice.

There's also a nice bar down in the lobby, beautiful atmosphere and amazing waiters and bartenders.

There's a fitness center and spa at the lobby area. but the machines are old and barely working. I'd rather go for a run at the beach or just outside the hotel.

Bottom line, and despite all, it wasn't a horrible experience.. But definitely not a five-stars one. The hotel needs to be renovated badly!
