We stayed in what I call a long house. It is actually a trailer I guess with a loft on the 2nd floor. The 1st floor was very nice, nicely adorned kitchen with stove, fridge and even a wine cooler. No dishwasher. Just the basic dishes & utensils tho. And a few pots and pans. This was our first time so I didn't know what to bring exactly. Next time I will bring paper plates, napkins, dish soap, paper towels, etc. I'm learning. The top floor was very low! It really is meant for small children. We had our adult daughter, husband and 8 month old staying up there. If I had known, we would have changed to a chalet. Again, not practical for adults. We were right by the pool which was great. And very close to the St. Lawrence River also. Great for swimming, kyacking, boating. Kids rented 2 paddle boats. You can also rent a party boat. There is also a tiki bar by the pool. Pretty much everything you'd ever need--and it is Pet Friendly!! Very nice. I would definitely stay here again, but in a Chalet next time. The people were great, attentive, and friendly. One complaint: Wi-Fi did not work well at all. We mentioned it daily and they knew it wasn't great and it was checked each time. But it still was not working most of the time.
