Block of about 8 villas of differing standards. Secure car parking area and nice pool and bbq area.
Overall we had a really great time for 5 nights here. I think 2 other families came and went but we hardly noticed them, the pool is quite large.
We are a family of four, with two teenagers. We just returned from a 7 nights stay at the Phuket Arcadium Home. The owner Urban promptly reply all my emails, all questions were answered clearly.
During our stay there, we saw 2 other units were rented out on the first 2 to 3 days. The rest of the time we were the only guests there.
The villa is a big 3 storey building plus a ground floor. There are quite a number of units for rental. There is a small but inviting swimming pool. There are some nice poolside chairs also. We did not use the swimming pool during our stay bacause we had enough swimming at the islands but the pool looks clean and well maintain. The units is clean and the furniture and paint looks new.
We stayed at 1st floor, look out to the tree top. It was a pity the beach was block by the trees, but it was still quite relaxing to see the tress swaying in the wind from our bed and living room.
Our unit has two bebroom (1 king and 1queen bed) and 2 bath rooms. The bed is a bit hard but the sheet is of very good quality, with very comfy comforter.
The 2 aircons in the unit work very well. The bathroom are very clean and new.
Tere is a small kitchenette with a sink and only one induction cooker. There are 2 pots, only for very simple cooking.
The Thai caretaker Piar (not sure of te spelling) is very prompt to our request for help. He waited for us upon our arrival. Once our bathroom door could not opened and he came to change the door knob immediately. On my arrival, Piar gave me a ride on his motorcycle to the seven eleven to buy SIM card for my hp and another trip to the Tesco Lotus supermarket to stock up my supplies, even stop by at the market for me to buy fruits. Urban the owner was not around during our stay but Piar took care of all our needs.
Urban got Pla from Sabaidee Tour (which has a shop down the toad) to arrange for our our transport need. Pla got us a van for airport transfer for B1000. We just give Pla a call and she will arrange for a taxi to pick us to anywhere we want. Pla also arranged for our trip to Racha Island for B1200 per person. On the last day when Pla coud not get a taxi to pick us from Promthep Cape, she actually came with her friend on their motorcycles to pick us back to the villa without charging us. So Pla took care of our transport need.
We rent long tail boat from Rawai beach for B1500 to Banana Beach at Coral Island. It was good with many fish.
It is adviceble to rent a car to get around as the Villa is out of the way, away from the restaurants and long tail boat ride. You have to walk at least 15 to 20 min to the restaurants and Rawai pier. So if you have a car or motorcycle, this villa s perfect. It is quiet, gives a very relaxing feel. It is just 2 minutes ride away by car to the pier and restaurants. 5 minutes by car to Promthep Cape and Nai Harn beach.
We had 2 meals at the Sea Gypsies Village where we could buy the seafood and got the restaurant to cook for us.
The only complaint we have at the villa was the WiFi which was supposed to be working was not, we could not get connected. The TV only have Thai channels and some foreign language channel. There is no English channel to watch.
Overall we enjoyed the stay at Phuket Arcadium Home and would recommend it to anyone who has their own transport. The villa is bifg clean, new and well maintain. Our teenage children (15 and 13 years old) like the place.
