We stopped at this cave as part of a full day sightseeing tour from Hua Hin, I was a bit nervous but the stairs are not too steep and the cave is very open and does not have a claustrophobic feeling as there is a lot of light coming in from the open ceiling.
It was fairly busy when we went, you can buy a ticket to get someone to drive you up to the cave (watch out for monkeys).
There are some nice things to see inside the cave and it's a beautiful experience, however it does not take long to look around so plan other things Into your day.

There will be a tuk tuk to drive you up the steep road to reach the entrance of the cave (15bht) and the tuk tuk looks like it's probably 50 years old and it's real small so maybe catch the larger and newer ones if your group is large. Not that the small one is terrible as it has its own charm. There's a few flights of stairs downwards bound to get into the cave. You'll find Buddha statues all over the cave and an opening on top lets the sun illuminate the inside. You'll probably spend about 30 mins to 1 hour inside here as the cave isn't exactly big. The tuk tuk ride for the descend didn't charge me for the ride when I showed my ticket for the ascending journey. At the bottom there's a stall selling drinks where you can pay some money to feed the monkeys who hang around trying to hustle some food from tourists. Do remember to arrange your ride to/from this attraction beforehand as the journey out is absolutely not recommended to be done on foot and the tuk tuk will try and quote you a ridiculous price to send you back.

This cave complex is both beautiful and easy to locate. A simple trip down the highway to Phetchaburi, follow the signs or take a trip from the Ekkamai Bus terminal.
The caves are dramatic and have a unique beauty. Many people have been here before you, the smooth wall sides indicate many visits. This is not a bad thing, it tells a story.
Easy to access for able body folk, you do have to descend and obviously ascend a long set of stairs... Could get tiring if poor health or elderly.
Well worth the trip, the monkeys are very friendly... watch your lunch!!

Just 15 baht per person by tuk tuk from checkpoint to the cave. Though not far (~800 meters), it is not advisable to walk to avoid monkey attack.
Inside the cave, a panoramic view is excellent. Be careful when going down into the cave by steep stairs and be aware of the cheeky monkeys which might go after your bag.
You need some special skills to capture beautiful images inside the cave.

We went here as part of a day tour, well worth the visit, definitely a "must see" if you're in the area. We caught a tuk tuk up the hill from the carpark, well worth the small cost on a hot day. There are lots of monkeys in the carpark area where you can buy food to feed them, none at the cave where it's forbidden to feed them, so they don't go there as there's no "free" food. We didn't have any trouble just don't hold food or drink in your hand and they didn't seem interested in cameras, hats etc.
