We booked 4 rooms in this resort for an extended family vacation for 6 nights. The overall stay was disappointing, to say the least. At the check-in, we were warned that if we lose our room keys, the penalty for each lost key is 300 Baht… which hotel has this kind of a policy? The rooms were of a match-box size, similar to Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Imagine paying a bomb to stay in a holiday resort, but getting a feel of being cramped in a compact water tight room. The rooms very never clean by the house keeping team without follow-up with the guest service team. Reason given on two different days for delay was that it’s very crowded and hence room clean would be delayed.. the spread at the breakfast was quite large however, not ideally suited for vegetarians. The guest relations executive was ‘borderline’ rude in conversing with our group and did not allow us to speak to the General Manager of the hotel. The buggy to go to the villas would take forever to arrive and the wait time was very agonising. The management should seriously stop ‘paid’ and ‘sponsored’ reviews on different sites ans make a genuine attempt to improve the services within the resort. The location is absolutely stunning but the quality of services more than offsets the pleasure of a beautiful location.
