We will definitely stay at the Amari again! The hotel had great service, and the sea view from our room was amazing. Thank you to Betty, the receptionist, for surprising us with a cake and decorations, even though we didn’t request them when booking.

The hotel is located on the beach but the private beach is not suitable for swimming. There are rocks scattered all over. Breakfast is quite good with a variety of food. The hotel has complete facilities including a swimming pool, bar, kid club and sports activity zone. The staff is quite friendly. Betty at the front desk, provides good service, always gives advice and is attentive to us.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, so please let me explain why.
If you have ever stayed at an Amari Group hotel then I recommend you enrol in their reward scheme (Onyx) as this comes with some very nice perks and discounts.
On this recent visit we stayed 4 nights and simply did not leave the hotel. You will find a very authentic Italian restaurant (La Gritta). For us the seafood raviolli, sitting outside looking over the bay makes a very special evening.
The Rim Talay restaurant is themed differently every night and sensibly priced.
The Spa is very special too.
If you get the opportunity upgrade to a Club House room. This is an exclusive place. with it's own pool. Looking down from the Club house over the bay you can enjoy A La Carte breakfast, evening canapes and cocktails served by the most attentive staff ever, often with a beautiful sunset.
This is a very large hotel built into a hillside with a network of buggies always available to transport you anywhere. I must say thank you to Khun Wit on the lobby desk, always happy and smiling and never once did I have to tell him my room number!
This hotel is a lovely oasis just 5 minutes from the centre of Patong.
Highly recommended.

Probably the best located Hotel in Phuket, but definitely not the most welcoming. There was some confusion about our extra bed, we kept waiting at the reception but no one as willing to help.
Staff at the reception need to be better trained , they have poor communication skills. Check-in and Check-out both took painfully long.
Bathroom of a pretty expensive room is shamefully small.
Breakfast was excellent though.
