We were 'upgraded' to an Ocean View Suite but beware all the suites are up a steep hill and far from the pools and sea and you are not allowed to use the pool at the Ocean Club unless you pay extra which is unfair because the other pools are so faraway. There are golf buggies to run you around and you will need to use them in the heat. The most disappointing thing for us was the private beach, there is no beach as such and you are not allowed to swim in the sea because the rocks are dangerous, this isn't mentioned anywhere on the hotel website. Our room was nice and spacious and clean but too far from the pools for us. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Patong or the hotel runs a free shuttle bus there 3 times a day. We ate at La Gritta a couple of times, it isn't cheap but the food, service and location are worth it. Not sure if I would stay here again.

We were a family of 4 and paid extra for the ocean view room. I requested rooms on the higher floors (The highest floor is 3) and connecting rooms. There were no lifts available atleast in our wing so do check that if you are travelling with senior citizens or children.
There are so many photo opportunities in this hotel. The walk to the jetty is gorgeous. The view from the ocean view room and restaurants is gorgeous. The view of the sunset from the jetty area is worth seeing.
1 funny thing was no hair conditioner was provided with the toiletries but they provided it when i requested for it.
The buffet breakfast was good, nothing spectacular and there were bees roaming in the buffet area which was a bit unpleasant. Other than that all was good.
The staff were very pleasant with excellent service. I didnt have time to try out the spa but they had quite good promotions going on. Maybe I will try out the spa during my next visit.

This hotel looks good in pictures but has variety of problems.Our room was given far away from the beach and we have to use golf karts to reach the rooms which we should have made aware of while booking.
The location is isolated and not near to markets also.
The bedsheets were having wholes and was dirty and kettle was not cleaned at all.
There were bugs and insects all around the room and property.i wont recommend this property at all.They dont even give a changing room or toilet facility before 2pm checkin time.
