It's almost scarily basic in terms of setting - down an alley just off Bangla Rd, plastic seats, cramped - but that kind of adds to the experience. You do feel more comfortable that locals are eating there.
We over ordered - prawns, calamari, pork with garlic & pepper, chicken panang (hot), fried rice and pad thai but everything was great. I thought the pork was a bit chewy but the others actually liked it that way.
We had a drink or two and the bill was still under 900 baht for five so we were blown away. You certainly aren't paying much for the setting and is well worth a visit for more than just the food.
