Bangla Road is Phuket's iconic nightlife hub, known for its vibrant atmosphere and endless entertainment. This bustling street is lined with bars, clubs, and go-go bars, offering a dazzling array of live music, dancing, and shows. Whether you're looking for a quiet drink or a wild night out, Bangla Road has something to offer. Just be prepared for the crowds and loud music!
If travelling with kids best to go during the day. Can be confronting at night with the crowds, neon, loud music and constant thrusting of ping pong show signs in your face. Its loud, it's colourful and honestly quite degrading for the Thai people who earn their living by selling favours to Westerners. Lots of sleazy white blokes on the prowl looking to pay for sex. I am not a prude but it's pretty sad seeing the Thai locals like this. Our 15 year old was quite overwhelmed walking through. It's much more full on that it was a decade ago.
In the day time there are several market stalls and shops- same as those everywhere else, nothing too special. There is a market and also a couple of proper shopping centres.
Excellent shopping experience...
The nightlife is entertaining...
The Thai Boxing is thrilling!
Make sure to have your passport to visit the disco...which is the best!
The heart of Patong Phuket. Everything to do and see. Great shopping and eateries. Bargins a plenty and such variety. Day time is for shopping and then night is a completely 180 degrees. Recommend adults only at night regarding the entertainment.
