Every one must experience Bangla road just once. It is a crazy street of every genre known to man, noisy crazy but seriously fun. Just walk down it to see the boy girls if nothing else. Don't take the kids
A very different night out. I went there with my wife. There Where hundreds of people drinking and having fun. I didn't see any trouble which was good.
It was very seedy in parts with people on the streets trying to get you into strip clubs. We went in one and they wanted to charge us 900 bhat for a beer which I wasn't paying for . There is a lot of live music playing games English songs I know and a few Chinese songs
It seemed the sort of place pick pockets would operate but I didn't see any
I took a stroll down Bangla Rd during the day as I read it gets a little crazy at night. It was your standard Main Street with little shopping stands and people trying to sell you trinkets. It's a cool spot to see, however. There's a real good coconut ice cream spot halfway down the road.
Bangla is beautiful. I've been twice now and love the place - though don't get me wrong, it certainly is one hell of an experience! Don't expect anything classy, it's seedy as all hell. But then what would Thailand be without such places? 😉
Bangla road patong is popular for dancing. It begins at evening and continously going till 3 am. Its not good place for conservative familly.
