Stayed there for three days, having sea view balcony is best thing to enjoy your day. 5 mins walk to busy areas and food joints make this property a great choice for our stay.

They have very friendly staff with good breakfast spread to start your day.

Overall a value for the money.

Stayed here for one night a couple of years back and loved it so booked 3 nights. Went out at 9 am and returned past noon but room not cleaned despite the pls clean room sign. Requested front desk four times before they finally sent someone after 1 hour. There were three children running on the floor pressing the door bell and calling the room every now and then and screaming vulgarities from their balcony. when we complained the front desk scolded us in raised voices demanding to know what we expected them to do. Extremely rude and unfriendly. I refused to be bullied and finally got them to visit the floor with me and find which room was creating the ruckus and it stopped. It should not be this difficult to have a clean room and an unharrassed stay. Whilst the room is spacious, the lack of any competence, empathy and friendliness from the staff will not have me returning here in the future. If you are ok with sloppy dirty rooms with no peace from other hotel guests then this hotel is perfect for you. Else there are hundreds of other hotels in Phuket to try.

Beautiful room - Pool Suite, rooms cleaned and made up every day. Café is a real delight - Latte's every day. Offers a menu for a light meal or a full meal. Staff were the best and friendly. The front of house staff very friendly and helpful. The house keeping staff asked every day if there was something they could do for us. Our pool was cleaned every day. Security man - the most beautiful and friendly person you could ever meet. There was one incident that had occurred during our stay - one of the house keeping staff was very rude, this is out of character for most Thai people. Needless to say she did not attend our room for the rest of our stay, much to my relief. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we would stay at The Bliss again.

Room tip: Book directly with hotel, Pool suite very good.

The bathroom was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable and hard. It is noisy, old and dated. Not what we expected for the price, could have got 5 star. It's right on the street and a lot of traffic noise.

I recently completed a 7 night stay at The Bliss. For me, the location was perfect, very central, yet a block or so from where the craziness of Patong Beach kicks in. Was great for going out drinking and shopping, while easily being able to walk back to the hotel.
We had a pool room which I strongly recommend. The room was top quality, and the private pool was constantly in use. If anything, the room was way to big for what we needed.
The negatives of the place was the included buffet breakfast, the pillows, the staff were not as friendly and helpful as I've had in other Phuket hotels, and the daily cleaning service sometimes left a little to be desired.
Specifically about the breakfast, I found that over 75% of the time, the food you want hot, was cold or luke warm at best, and the things you wanted cold (juices and fruit) were often more like room temperature. The only way to get a decent hot breakfast there was to order an omelette from the egg station, and then add the cold bacon and hop that the hot omelette heated up the bacon on your plate. We ended up going else where for breakfast on the last couple of days even though we'd already paid for the buffet. Oh, and the coffee was rubbish, but that seemed very common in Phuket in general.
The beds are rock hard, but I got used to that and ended up liking it. The pillows however whilst looking thick and solid, seemed to somehow disintegrate into nothing once you lay on them. The hotel had no other pillows to offer, so I ended up buying once from a shopping centre to use for a few days and then throw out (thats how bad they were).
