The hotel is a lovely, modern budget hotel, located just outside of the town centre. The walk from the hotel to the centre was approximately 15 minutes. The hotel is comparable to a UK travelodge. The daily rate at the hotel was 650baht working out around £15. The staff were very friendly, helpful and even ordered us taxi’s. The rooms were very clean and spacious, offering good facilities. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Clean and comfortable sized room. Budget hotel with large parking spaces that sells frozen dinner in the lobby as well as amenity such as soap, toothbrush and toothpaste and even has a coffee machine but can only be used in the morning.
We were visiting Kanchanaburi for a couple of days and with so much to see and do we decided to stay another day. We were just looking for a bed and at $26AUS for 2 single beds -the beds were clean and comfy. Great value and within walking distance from the bus stop. Excellent street food right across the road. The vendor with a yellow sign and funky font saying “Thai.”
Fresh, modern, clean and inexpensive. The downside, it’s location. It’s far from anywhere, and you’ll need a taxi. Small selection of snacks available and some microwave meals. Pretty nice actually. The first hotel I’ve ever been to to not have a do not disturb sign. Asked for one and they seemed confused and when I asked not to be disturbed the next day they seemed to understand and said yes, but sure enough I had a knock on the door the next day and my lie in was ruined. Overall a very nice budget hotel, location an issue unless you have a car.
:) Well, I have stayed with this chain HOP INN before so everything was up to their standard already. It was fit for its name. If you only need a place to sleep and you go out during the day, this would be a perfect fit for you. The bed and pillow is comfy enough to get you some rest. The water pressure was good and they have hot water too. No amenities like some of the hotels where they would have small bottles of certain things plus shower cap and all, but well, look at the price and it was quite ok :)
:( This is only a few things that happened to this trip. The bed sheets got a pen stained on it. When we checked-in, our room didn't have towel so we have to call and wait as they don't have enough staff. Just a suggestion, if you want a quiet sleep, then please do not choose this place as when your next door neighbor is back, you could hear them as well. The noise from outside could be annoying a bit but then again, look at the price :D
