Kim was easy to communicate with, quickly responded to my inquiries and his advice on issues like visas, transportation from the airport, drinking water, currency exchange, etc was very usefull. The house is as described, equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and a bath, not just a shower, which is a rare combination for Thailand. We were with a two months baby, so it mattered for us. There is a collection of English books and movies, very useful if you want to improve your English. The house is in a safe quiet neighbourhood preferred by longstayers. The security works 24 hours. Very few people around. There is a small, but multifunctional gym in the swimming pool area (approx 200 m from the house), almost always free. Just around the corner there are several supermarkets (Tesco, 7/11), pharmacies, restaurants, two local markets. There is a kids' education centre within 5 min drive, artist's village and elephants' village. The only disadvantage, in my opinion, was that free wifi was only in the swimming pool area, but not in the house. We used mobile internet, but it was so slow, that was no use. And you need a car or at least a motorbike if you want to go downtown or to the beach or get a taxi (the cost is 200 baht one way).
