We went to the Wora Bura Resort and Spa in September 2017 with the sole purpose of relaxing and we did just that! The hotel was located quite far from the city centre so it was not a noisy area, but still close to some local markets. The hotel seemed old, but had the looks of a luxury hotel 25-30 years ago. The hotel oozed of asian architecture and style which of course was great to see. We did not see many people around in the hotel which meant we had it mostly to ourselves. A great swimming pool with a view directly towards the ocean - great! The breakfast was allright but maybe a little ordinary. The staff was very helpful and kind and our rooms were very clean. The rooms were also quite big and with terrances on each of them. The rooms were located in buildings of max. two-storeys so there were many small buildings which made it cozy.
Hua Hin as a city was a little to reliant on tourism for my taste so it is not likely I will come back. It is however a good thing to have been there!
