For a brand new hotel they're doing a lot right.

Service was spot on, from our booking to the arrival, full marks for calling us by our names (ok so they didn't seem too busy at the time but it's still nice).

Our room was in the side building overlooking the huge pool and garden. On the far side there is another hotel going up and although it's unsightly, it's far enough away not to be a disturbance. Rooms were very clean, well laid out and bright.

For us the main feature was the beach club which you reach with a golf buggy, a bit of a trek by foot in the heat but well worth it. The local wine was a pleasant surprise.

At a bit over 2 hours from the airport we felt it's worth the trip and will be back.

Room Tip: High floor

We have stayed before in an Amari. This one in Hua Hin is a whole different type of hotel. We had a fantastic short stay.

First, the design should be mentioned. Vibrant blues and Asian browns greet you on arrival, a lovely visual experience. The check in was smooth, our receptionist was lovely. A nice surprise was that we were approached during check in by another lady who offered us assistance and advice for our stay and she had an iPad with all sorts of info to help. Nice touch. I think she said she was the Amari Host.

Room was immaculate, clean and bright. You need to book a room higher up to get sea view, definitely recommend this. There was an iPod docking station in the room too which was very
welcome. TV channels were fairly standard with some movies and the usual news channels.

Breakfast was a generous buffet, good, fresh baguettes and bread. We also tried their deli, pool bar and beach club. All with good food but the stand out place was the beach club. The setting (obviously at the beach) was classic. We ate barbecue grilled meats there and drank beers with some great chill it music in the background.

Didn't use the spa but it looked nice. Also didn't use the gym, they were laying a floor so it was closed at the time.

Room Tip: High floor for ocean view

Dear David

It was a pleasure sharing your review with the team, thank you for taking the time to write about your stay.

I am glad to see that you met our Amari Hosts. Their goal is to help our guests maximize their stay both in the hotel and around Hua Hin. They have recommendations covering local sporting activities, shopping, cultural events and restaurant tips.

Next time maybe try Breeze Spa too! We are laying a very special gym floor, hence it is closed until 18 September.

Hopefully we will see you again soon.

I visited the Amari Hua Hin in early August of this year, prior to its opening to the public. I came as a guest with a family of 5 on my first trip to Thailand. After staying in Bangkok for 3 days, the Amari Hua Hin was an absolute paradise. The staff were incredible with their smiles, willingness to provide assistance, and efficiency. They not only helped us, but took time to get to know us. By day 2 they knew us as we walked into breakfast and went to dine by the beach.

The area is incredibly safe and quiet but still has plenty to do like shopping at the night market, jet skiing in the ocean, having fun at the waterpark, or relaxing at a spa. Shopping and activities are all close by and the hotel provides transportation to nearly anything you can find in the area.
The food was delicious as well. Breakfast was great, poolside food was scrumptious, and dinner by the beach was perfect.

For the 4-star rating, you get everything and more. I couldn't believe it was only 4-stars. I have already bragged to everyone I know back home about the Amari Hua Hin and have been mentally planning my next trip back. I would highly recommend (and already have) this hotel, and city, to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Booked the hotel for 2 nights and I am writing this review when I am staying for the last night here. My room is 2320 which facing to the pool but not the sea. Although, the accommodation is exceed my expectation with a design, decoration and the price that I've paid. Especially, the bed is so comfy !!

The breakfast didn't include in the room rate as I booked by a membership voucher. However, I went there for the first day with a 50% off by a benefit of member card. The food was too normal, didn't get anything special if you compare to the breakfast with other 4-5 star hotel. Staff are very friendly which most of the services are exceptional. Didn't have any problem when I am staying here. The facilities of the gym was okay but no steam room and sauna room in the hotel. Overall, as the hotel is newly open, and understood that the operation system and lot of things is not in place yet but I enjoy a lot here.

Dear Roissz

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and thank you for staying. Your comments have been passed on to all concerned. We are particularly please to see that you were impressed by the room layout and decor. We shall continue to develop our breakfast options as we move forward.

It is true we don't have a sauna but we hope that next time you will enjoy a relaxing session at the newly opened Breeze Spa. There are also two large jet pools integrated into our pool. We also opened our Reef Deli. Shoreline Beach Club is already a chilled place to go for some beachside evening tunes, cocktails and barbecue and we also have a our very own poolside noodle cart for authentic Thai streetfood.

Thanks again for staying and see you again soon at Amari Hua Hin!

I have never stayed at hotels in the Amari Group before. But chose to stay at the Amari Hua Hin for the first time last weekend for 2 nights/ 3 days with my family. The location is great even though it is not right at the beach. The buggy ride from the hotel to the beach was efficient and fun - conveniently available at any time of the day. My son enjoyed it most.

The facilities are great - the fitness room, the pool and the kid's room.

The family suite that we stayed was great and the food was very good especially the barbecue at the beach-front restaurant.

I have to say the service was excellent everywhere - the reception, the restaurants, the pool and even the cleaning staff. Everybody was very polite and welcoming with the genuine smiles.

We have always stayed at The Hyatt, The V Villas and The Intercontinental. But our future trips will definitely be at the Amari.

I have not found anything 4-star with the hotel. You have to add a few stars to the service level.

Congratulation and keep up the great service.
