Wannara Hotel Hua Hin

We stayed 3 nights on a golfing trip for the 8 of us. We were given rooms in the new wing at the back of the hotel. Having stayed here 5 years ago, the rooms in the new wing is much better with new air-conditioning and large bathroom. Even the WiFi works better. Although there was a wide screen TV, the channels were limited to local programmes and a few English news channel. The main pool is being renovated until end of September, but there's a rooftop pool at the new wing where you could get a good view of Hua Hin being 7 storey high. Breakfast is average as expected and provided mostly local dishes except for a cereal bar, pork and chicken ham/sausage and fatty bacon. There's also a egg station for omelettes and fried eggs. Being close to the town centre, its 10 mins walk to the night market and lots of restaurants.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the new wing

I stayed here for five nights. The rooms were nice and clean. The wifi didn't work in all spots in the hotel and was quite slow. The restaurant was nice and made good food. They had a nice pool which was a little bit dirty (but they are doing upgrade works on the pool now). Overall, Good value for money.

As part of a golf group we stayed here.
What a disaster.
Again, the swimming pool is a cess pool, swimming quite impossible.
Breakfast not worth TB 10 best opt to eat out.
Rooms still have wet bathroom floors and cracked tiles.
Sad hat the management do not read reviews.

Had a group of 12 (6 rooms), were allocated floor 3 & 4, good quyality rooms, clean and generally well maintained. Bathroom with shower over bath, early morning water not too hot. Did provide bathroom amenities (shampoo and bath gel), tea/cofee maker, small fridge with limited drinks. 2 free bottles of water daily.
Nice pool/jacuzzi adjacent to restaurant, which only ever really appeard to serve a very good buffet breakfast, lunch was non existant and never open for dinner. Thankfully there are good and cheap restaurants within easy walking distance.
Trying to buy beers from the bar was at times an effort and they only accepted cash!
Other than that our stay was ok
