If you're looking for a clean, comfortable unit, which isn't smack in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Hatyai, this is the place for you. Not that it's super far or anything (Just 10 mins walk away from Kim Yong Market) but it gives you the opportunity to explore more as you make your way around on foot.

Transportation is cheap and convenient in Hatyai (20 Baht/person/1way to anywhere within the city via tuktuk) and if you can't get a tuktuk, the hotel will gladly call one for you. They also offer day trip tours within Hatyai and Songkhla as well which we felt were very value for money as it was individually catered to our own liking.

Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms are quite reasonable sized too, equipped with a wardrobe, clothes hanger, fridge, kettle and daily complimentary water bottles (Hairdryers available for loan from the reception) just to name a few.

Wifi runs around the whole building, plenty of plug points around the room, bunch of local street food opposite the hotel at night if you happen to be starving in the middle of the night. There's also a lovely Bar/Restaurant - Bali Hai just 5 mins walk away.

I can't fault anything about our stay here. All of the hotel staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful all the time. Will definitely return and recommend.

Room tip: Rooms facing the street, parallel to the main entrance may tend to get a little warmer in the noon/evening.

This hotel a 5 star stay. We only stayed for one night but the hotel was clean and modern. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and gave us info on hatyai and what to do for our one day stay. The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was nice and clean. The wifi in the room was really really fast compared to any other hotels I've stayed in se asia. In the morning there is hot drinks and bread and croissants available. Overall I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The good:

* Located at a quiet location, 10 minute walk to Kim-Yong market, 20 minutes walk to downtown area.
* The premise is new, spacious, and clean. Looks exactly as the photo provided here in Tripadvisor.
* Receptionists are relatively fluent with conversational english, so no communication barrier there.
* Guest-only open-air car park is available for those who travel by car. Tuk-tuk can be hailed with the help from receptionist.
* Light breakfast (toast, local delicacies, fruits and coffee) are provided at lobby every morning.
* Early check-in are available upon request and room availability.

The could-be-better:

* Ample of power socket in the room, but it's all in Thailand's local Type B socket. Single socket converter can be purchased at the front-desk. Bring along a power strip, so you only need to get one socket converter.
* Personal safe is not available in the room.
* The door wasn't soundproof enough. You could hear sound of people walking by at times.
* There are no convenience shop/bistro/restaurant around the hotel at night, so grab your food/stuffs before heading back.

Enjoy my stay here in hatyai, came here just for relaxing, eating and most importantly to me thii rak Nong Bum.... awesome hotel to stay in, walking distant to Kim Yong market and night bazaar @ four Buddha. If you are driving, this hotel have their own parking place and it's very convenient..

Nice small property and quite new with all the necessary amenities. Close to temple. About 15mins walk to main city centre but quite easy to get tut tut if required. Would have preferred hotel closer to the centre for convenience to experience the active night activities.
