We booked a 6days/5nights safari with Greg Adventures. We went to Tarangire, Manyara and then we spent 2 days inside the Serengeti NP and we also did Ngorongoro. It was our first safari experience and we had an amazing time. Greg and Pia were very helpful and answered to all of our questions beforehand. I’ve sent Pia many emails during our preparation for the safari and she kindly answered to all of them, making sure we had all the informations we needed. Greg was also very nice. He came to pick us up in Arusha when we had to go look for our lost luggages.

As for the safari itself, I’ve got no word that can describe this experience. From beginning to end, it was absolutely amazing. First the car was comfortable. Everyone had a window seat so we could see very well. The car also had a pop-up roof so we could stand up whenever we wanted to have a better view. I always felt very safe. We also had the best guide, Anwar, who was so patient and knowledgeable. He had an answer to every question we had. He took the time to explain to us the behaviour of the many animals we saw. He was also a good spotter. Thanks to him, we saw lions, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, leopard, many different species of birds, etc. You could see that he is very passionate about his job and animals. And he really wanted us to see as many animals as we could. We all learned a lot from him. Our cook was also the best, Safiri. The food was excellent day after day and the portions were generous.

So if you are looking for a tour company for your safari, you can’t go wrong with Greg Adventures. If I could I would give them more than 5 stars.
