This is a wonderfully converted space .... big, rustic yet comfortable. the brewing does actually happen here plus there is a bar area (also with some raised tables) and a restaurant zone. Enjoyed a house-brewed beer and a burger interestingly served with pickled green tomato -- nice ! Street parking.

I was there for a weekday lunch, so not sure if it is packed on the weekends. Try it out.

Finding a good place to eat in Albany after 9PM is not easy. We stumbled upon Druther's by pure dumb luck. We made a wrong turn, and saw some lights in what otherwise was a very Dark neighbourhood.
We were very pleased to find that this was a brew house and pub - one of our favourite types of places to eat.
The menu had a large varieties of Mac & Cheese of various Various Combinations.
There were burgers, and other traditional pub fare (done differently).
We started with the Buffalo Chicken Rangoon which were quite tasty.
3 of us had Macaroni & Cheese - the loaded Mac, The Druthers Mac, and the creamed corn Mac.
To our surprise these were served in the skillets - which were massive. Very generous portions indeed. Each person took about 1/2 of the meal home for left overs.

The beers were quite good, even for the non-beer drinker in the group.
We tried them all - quite delightful.

This is a great place amidst a very unsettling backdrop,
Do not let the neighbourhood scare you away, Druthers is worth it.
This is clearly an up and coming neighbourhood.
Give it a chance.

So loud it was impossible to carry on a conversation. Food was at most average. Wait staff was friendly but didn't make up for the noise and food.
