Not much to see here. What there is is very interesting. Seems like a lot more excavation is required. If you have time you should stop and check it out.

If you are interested in OT history this is a must. Good views over Jezreel. Sight of Canaanite altar. Exit via underground water passage.

There is not a lot to see compared to Bet She'an or Caesarea but lots of history in this site. A fortified hilltop for centuries commanding one of the main historical trade routes. Nice movie to start with. Small gift shop. There is a restaurant (café) but it was closed when we were there (Shabbat).
Enjoyed the sacred site, stables and the water tunnel. Well worth a visit - allow about an hour.
Note that Google Maps wanted to take us to the exit but luckily we saw the sign for the entrance as we drove by so did a quick U-turn.

Like many other sites in Israel one can enter ancient cities,as their foundations are exposed through years of excavations, and imagine how the city ruled thousands of years ago. Beautiful preserved walls, stables and water cisterns are to be seen. The air-conditioned museum and shop is also very modern and neat with plenty to see. A worthwhile stop for sure!

Megiddo, Armageddon, is a biblical site and an historic landmark. The beginning of the end happens here. For tourists, the view is beautiful and the history is fascinating. It is a little athletic but worth it.
